Jesus made a parable that people should pray constantly and not lose heart.

There is a certain official in a certain city who does not fear God or respect the world.

There was a widow in that city who often came to him and said, “I have an enemy, please avenge me.”.

He is uncertain for many days. Later, he said to himself, “Although I am not afraid of God, I do not respect the world.”.

Just because this widow is bothering me, I will avenge her. Lest she keep bothering me.

The Lord said, Listen to the words of this unjust official.

God’s chosen people cry out to him day and night. Even if he endures for them for a long time, will not he ultimately avenge them?

I tell you to avenge them quickly, but when the Son of Man comes, will you see any faith in the world?

Jesus made a parable to those who despise others by claiming to be righteous,

Two people went up to the temple to pray. One is a Pharisee, and the other is a tax collector.

The Pharisees stood and prayed to themselves, saying, God, I thank you. I am not like others, extortion, unrighteousness, adultery, or this tax collector.

I fast twice a week and donate one tenth of everything I receive.

The tax collector stood from a distance, not even daring to look up to heaven, but only pounding his chest and saying, God, be merciful and have mercy on me, a sinner.

I tell you, this person who goes home is more righteous than that person, because anyone who thinks highly of themselves will be humbled, and those who think low of themselves will be elevated.

Someone came to Jesus holding their own baby, asking him to touch them. But when his disciples saw it, they rebuked those people.

But Jesus called them and said, Let the children come to me, do not forbid them, for it is such a person in the kingdom of God

I tell you the truth, anyone who wants to inherit the kingdom of God cannot enter without being like a child.

A judge asked Jesus, “Good Master, what should I do to inherit eternal life?”.

Jesus said to him, Why do you call me good? There is nothing good except God.

You know the commandments: do not commit adultery, do not murder, do not steal, do not bear false witness, and show filial piety to your parents.

That person said, I have followed all of this since I was young.

When Jesus heard this, he said, You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute it to the poor, and there will be treasure in heaven. You still have to come and follow me.

When he heard these words, he was very sad because he was very wealthy.

Jesus saw him and said, “How difficult it is for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God!”.

It is easier for a camel to pass through the eyes of a needle than for a wealthy man to enter the kingdom of God.

And those who heard said, Who can be saved like this?

Jesus said, What is impossible to man is possible to God.

Peter said, “Look, we have left everything we have and followed you.”.

Jesus said, Truly, I tell you that for the kingdom of God, one leaves behind a house or a wife, brother, parent, or child,

There is nothing that cannot be multiplied a hundred times in this life and cannot be eternal in the next life.

Jesus, with his twelve disciples, said to them, See, when we go up to Jerusalem, all that the prophets have written will be accomplished in the Son of Man.

He will be handed over to the Gentiles, who will tease him, insult him, and spit on his face.

And he shall be whipped and killed, and on the third day he shall be resurrected.

The disciples did not understand any of these things, but the meaning was hidden, and they did not know what was being said.

As Jesus approached Jericho, there was a blind man sitting by the roadside begging for food.

When I heard many people passing by, I asked what it was.

They told him that it was Jesus of Nazareth who passed by.

And he called out, saying, Jesus, the son of David, have mercy on me.

The person walking ahead will blame him and not allow him to speak up. But he shouted even more, ‘Son of David, have mercy on me.’.

Jesus stood still and ordered to be brought over. When he arrived, he asked him,

What do you want me to do for you. He said, Lord, I will be able to see.

Jesus said, You can see. Your letter saved you.

The blind man immediately saw and followed Jesus, glorifying God all the way. When everyone saw this, they also praised God.
