All the tax collectors and sinners approached Jesus to hear him preach.

The Pharisees and the scribes murmured privately, saying, This man received sinners and ate with them.

Jesus spoke in parables, saying,

Which of you has a hundred sheep, and if you lose one, do not leave these ninety-nine in the wilderness and search for the lost sheep until you find them?

When they found it, they happily carried it on their shoulders and returned home.

Please invite friends and neighbors to come and say to them, ‘I have found the sheep I lost. Let’s rejoice together.’.

I tell you, even if a sinner repents, he will rejoice in heaven in this way, even more so than in the case of ninety-nine righteous people who do not need to repent.

Or a woman with ten yuan, if she loses one yuan, wouldn’t she light a lamp, clean the house, and search carefully until she finds it?

When I find it, I invite my friends and neighbors to come and say to them, “I have found the lost piece of money. Let’s rejoice together.”.

I tell you, even a sinner who repents rejoices in the presence of God’s messengers.

Jesus also said, A man has two sons.

The youngest son said to his father, Father, please share my rightful inheritance with me. His father divided the estate among them.

A few days later, the younger son packed everything he had and headed towards the distance. Indulge recklessly there, wasting wealth.

Having exhausted everything, and encountering a severe famine in that place, they became impoverished.

So he went to seek refuge with a person from that place, who sent him to the field to feed pigs.

He wished he could satisfy his hunger with the pods eaten by pigs. No one gave it to him either.

When he woke up, he said, “How many hired workers does my father have and how much food does he have? Should I starve here?”?

I will get up and go to my father, saying to him, Father, I have offended heaven and you.

From now on, I am not worthy to be called your son, treat me as an employee.

So he got up and went to his father’s place. When they were still far apart, his father saw him and showed mercy. He ran to hug his neck and kissed him repeatedly.

My son said, Father, I have offended heaven and you. From now on, I am not worthy to be called your son.

But the father commanded his servant, ‘Quickly take out the best robe and put it on him.’. Put the ring on his finger. Put the shoes on his feet.

Bring the fat calf and slaughter it, we can eat, drink and have fun.

Because my son was resurrected from death, lost and gained. They became happy.

At that time, the eldest son was in the field. He returned not far from home and heard the sound of music and dancing.

Then he called a servant and asked what it was.

The servant said, Your brother has come. Your father slaughtered the fat calf because he came back unscathed.

The eldest son was angry and refused to go in. His father came out to persuade him.

He said to his father, ‘I have served you for many years and have never violated your life.’. You didn’t give me a lamb, calling me and my friends happy together.

But your son and the prostitutes have swallowed up your inheritance, and when he comes, you have slaughtered the fat calf for him.

My father said to him, Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours.

It’s just that your brother died and resurrected, lost and obtained, so we should be happy and joyful.
