After this, the Lord appointed seventy more men and sent two or two of them before him to all the cities and places where he was going.

Tell them that there will be more crops to harvest and fewer workers to work. So please ask the Lord of the crops to send workers out to harvest his crops.

You guys go ahead. I sent you out like a lamb entering a pack of wolves.

Don’t bring money bags, no pockets, no shoes. Don’t ask people’s greetings on the road.

No matter which house you enter, first say, may this house be safe.

If there is a person worthy of peace there, the peace you seek will come to that house, otherwise it will belong to you.

Stay in that house, eat and drink what they provide. Because it is reasonable for workers to receive wages. Don’t move from one house to another.

Regardless of which city you enter, if someone receives you and sets you up, you will eat whatever you want.

To heal the sick in that city, say to them, The kingdom of God is near you.

No matter which city you enter, if people do not receive you, go to the streets,

That is to say, even the dust in your city sticks to our feet, and we wipe it off in front of you. Nevertheless, you should know that the kingdom of God is approaching.

I tell you, on the day of judgment, it will be more tolerable for Sodom than for that city.

Woe to you, Gorazin. Bethesda, you are in trouble. For if the miracles that were done among you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have already repented by sitting on the ground covered in linen and ashes.

On the day of judgment, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon than for you.

Capernaum, you have ascended to heaven. Will you ascend to heaven? You will be pushed down to the underworld in the future.

And he said to his disciples, He who listens to you listens to me, He who rejects you abandons me, And He who rejects me abandons him who sent me.

The seventy men returned with joy and said, Lord, even demons have subdued us in your name.

Jesus said to them, I have seen Satan fall from heaven like lightning.

I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions, and to overcome all the power of your enemies, so that nothing can harm you.

However, do not rejoice because the demons have subdued you, but rejoice because your names are recorded in heaven.

At that moment, Jesus was moved by the Holy Spirit and rejoiced, saying, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, I thank you, for you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to infants. Father, yes, because such is your beauty.

Everything was delivered to me by my father. Except for the father, no one knows who the son is. No one knows who the Father is, except for what the Son and Son are willing to indicate.

Jesus turned around and whispered to his disciples. Blessed are your eyes when you see what you see.

I tell you, there were many prophets and kings who wanted to see what you were looking at, but they did not see it. I wanted to hear what you heard, but I didn’t hear it.

A lawyer stood up and tempted Jesus, saying, Master, what should I do to inherit eternal life.

Jesus said to him, What is written in the law? What are you reading?

He replied, “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your might, with all your heart.”. Also love your neighbors like yourself.

Jesus said, You answered yes. If you do this, you will surely have eternal life.

The man wanted to show himself right and said to Jesus, “Who is my neighbor?”?

Jesus replied, “There was a man who went down from Jerusalem to Jericho and fell into the hands of bandits. They stripped him of his clothes and beat him half to death, then left him behind.”.

By chance, a priest came down this road. I saw him and went over there.

Another Levite came to this place and saw him, so he passed over from there.

Only one Samaritan traveled and arrived there. Seeing him moved my heart,

Step forward and pour oil and wine onto his wound, wrap it up, help him ride his own animal, and take him to the shop to take care of him.

The next day, he took out two coins of silver and handed them to the shopkeeper, saying, “Take care of him.”. In addition, I will definitely reimburse you for the expenses incurred.

Do you think among these three people, which one is the neighbor who fell into the hands of a robber?

He said it was pity for him. Jesus said, Go and do the same.

As they were walking, Jesus entered a village. There is a woman named Ma Da who takes him to her own house.

She had a girl named Mary sitting at Jesus’ feet listening to his words.

Ma Da has many things to serve and his heart is in turmoil. He comes forward and says, Lord, my sister has left me to serve alone. Don’t you mind? Please instruct her to help me.

Jesus replied, “Martha, Martha, you are troubled and troubled by many things.”.

But there is only one essential item. Mary has chosen the good fortune that cannot be taken away.
