Before the Passover, Jesus knew that the time had come for him to leave the world and return to his father. Since he loves his own people in the world, he loves them to the end.

At dinner time, the devil had already placed the intention of betraying Jesus in the heart of Judas Iscariot, son of Simon.

Jesus knew that the Father had given all things into his hand, and that he had come out of God and would return to God,

He stood up from the seat, took off his clothes, and tied a handkerchief around his waist.

Then he poured water into the basin, washed the feet of his disciples, and wiped them dry with the handkerchief he had tied around him.

As he approached Simon Peter, he said to him, Lord, have you washed my feet?

Jesus replied, “You do not know what I have done now, but you will understand it later.”.

Peter said, You shall never wash my feet. Jesus said, If I do not wash you, you will have no part with me.

Simon Peter said, Lord, not only will my feet be washed, but also my hands and head.

Jesus said, “Anyone who has taken a bath only needs to wash their feet, and their whole body will be clean.”. You are clean, but not all of you are clean.

Jesus knew who was going to sell him, so he said, Not all of you are clean.

After washing their feet, Jesus put on his clothes and sat down again, saying to them, Do you understand what I have done to you?

You call me Master, you call me Lord, you’re right. I was originally.

I am your Lord and your Master. Wash your feet, and you should also wash each other’s feet.

I have set an example for you to do as I have done to you.

I truly tell you, a servant cannot be greater than his master. Even worse people cannot be greater than worse ones.

If you know this, it will be fortunate if you go and do it.

I didn’t say this to all of you. I know who I have chosen. Now I will fulfill the words of the scripture, saying, Those who eat with me kick me with their feet.

Now that the matter has not yet been accomplished, I will first tell you that when it is done, you may believe that I am the Christ

Truly, I tell you the truth, if someone receives what I have sent, they will receive me. To receive me is to receive the one who sent me.

When Jesus said these words, his heart was troubled, and he said plainly, Truly, I tell you, one of you will betray me.

The disciples looked at each other and couldn’t guess who they were talking about.

There was a disciple who was loved by Jesus and leaned sideways into his arms.

Simon Peter nodded and said to him, “Tell us who the Lord is speaking of.”.

The disciple leaned against Jesus’ chest and asked him, “Lord, who is it?”?

Jesus answered and said, Whoever I dip a little bread into will be the one. Jesus dipped a little bread and handed it to Judas son of Simon Iscariot.

After he ate it, Satan entered his heart. Jesus said to him, “Do what you have done quickly.”.

None of the people at the table knew why they were saying these words to him.

Some people thought that Jesus was saying to Judas because he was carrying a purse, “Go buy what we need for the festival.”. Or ask him to give something to the poor.

Judah took the cake and immediately went out. It was nighttime at that time.

And as he went out, Jesus said, Now the Son of Man is glorified, and God is also glorified in him.

God will glorify the Son of Man for himself, and will quickly glorify him.

Boys, I still have a few moments to be with you. Later on, you wanted to find me, but you couldn’t go to the place where I went. I have said these things to the Jews, and now I speak to you in the same way.

I give you a new command, that you love each other. No matter how much I love you, you should also love each other.

If you have a heart of love for each other, then everyone will recognize you as my disciples.

Simon Peter asked Jesus, “Where is the Lord going?”. Jesus answered and said, Where I am going, you cannot go with me now. But later he wanted to go with me.

Peter said, Lord, why can’t I go with you now? I am willing to sacrifice my life for you.

Jesus said, Are you willing to sacrifice your life for me? I truly tell you, before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times.
