Genesis_Chapter 4

One day, the man slept with his wife Eve. Eve became pregnant and gave birth to Cain, saying, ‘The Lord has given me a man.’.

And he gave birth to Cain’s brother Abel. Abel is a shepherd, and Cain is a farmer.

One day, Cain took the produce of the land as an offering to the Lord.

Abel also offered the firstborn of his flock and the fat of the sheep. The Lord favored Abel and his offering,

I just don’t like Cain and his offerings. Cain was greatly angry and his face changed.

The Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry?”? Why did your face change?

If you do well, will you not be accepted? If you do not do well, sin will lie at the door. It will long for you, but you will subdue it.

Cain and his brother Abel were speaking while they were in the field. Cain got up and attacked his brother Abel, killing him.

The Lord said to Cain, “Where is your brother Abel?”? He said, I don’t know, am I the one who guards my brothers?

And the Lord said, What have you done? Your brother’s blood, a voice cries to me from the ground.

The ground opened its mouth and accepted your brother’s blood from your hands. Now you will be cursed from this land.

You farm, and the land no longer serves you. You will wander and drift on the ground.

Cain said to the Lord, My punishment is too heavy for me to bear.

You have driven me away from this land, so that I cannot see you. I will wander and wander on the ground, and anyone who meets me will kill me.

The Lord said to him, Whoever kills Cain will be avenged sevenfold. The Lord set a mark for Cain, so that no one would find him and kill him.

So Cain left before the Lord and stayed in the land of Nod east of Eden.

Cain slept with his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch. Cain built a city and named it Enoch after his son.

Enoch is born and taken. Eleanor, the rice farmer. Mihuyali gave birth to Methusaliel. Matuzari gave birth to Lamech.

Lamech married two wives, one named Adah and the other named Zerah.

Yada gave birth to Yaba. Yaba is the ancestor of those who live in tents and feed livestock.

Jabal’s brother’s name is Jubal. He is the ancestor of all those who play the piano and flute.

Zerah gave birth to Tupachain again. He is the master of crafting various copper and iron sharp tools (or the ancestor of coppersmiths and blacksmiths). The sister of Tubal Cain is Namah.

Lamech said to his two wives, Adah, Zillah, listen to my voice. Lama’s wife, listen carefully to my words. When a middle-aged man injured me, I killed him. The young man harmed me, and I harmed him. (Or I kill a strong warrior but harm myself, I harm a young child but harm myself)

If Cain is killed, he will be avenged seven times. Killing Lamai will bring seventy seven times retribution.

Adam slept with his wife again, and she gave birth to a son named Seth, who said, God has given me another son to replace Abel, because Cain killed him.

Seth also gave birth to a son named Enosh. At that time, only then did they call on the name of the Lord.
