Acts of the Apostles_Chapter 28

We only learned that the island was called Milidah after being saved.

The natives have a great affection for us because it was raining and the weather was cold, so they lit a fire and welcomed us all.

At that time, Paul picked up a bundle of firewood and placed it on the fire. A venomous snake came out of the heat and bit his hand.

When the natives saw the venomous snake hanging in his hand, they said to each other, This man must be a murderer. Although he was rescued from the sea, heaven will not allow him to live.

Paul threw the venomous snake into the fire without getting hurt.

The local people thought he would swell up or suddenly fall down and die. After watching for a long time and seeing that he was harmless, I immediately realized that he was a god.

Not far from that place, there is land belonging to the island’s Chobu Shiriu. He accepted us and indulged us for three days.

At that time, the father of Bu Bailiu was lying down with fever and dysentery. Paul went in, prayed for him, placed his hands on him, and healed him.

From then on, the other patients on the island also came for treatment.

They respect us from all sides. When the ship sets sail, we also deliver what we need to the ship.

After three months, we boarded the ship of Alexandria and set sail. This ship is named after the twins Dios and spent the winter on that island.

When we arrived at Syracuse, we anchored for three days.

Then they took a detour from there and arrived at Lichon. One day later, a south wind blew and the next day, we arrived at Butuli.

We met our brothers there and asked them to stay with us for seven days. So we come to Rome.

The brothers there, as soon as they heard our message, came out to meet us in the city of Abiu and the Sankan area. When Paul saw them, he thanked God and felt confident and courageous.

When he entered the city of Rome, Paul was granted permission and stayed with a soldier who was guarding him.

After three days, Paul invited the leaders of the Jews to come. When they came, they said to them, Brothers, although I have not done anything against the rules of our people or our ancestors, I have been bound and released from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans.

They interrogated me and were willing to release me. Because there is no damn sin on me.

Unfortunately, the Jews were not satisfied, and I had no choice but to appeal to Caesar. There is nothing to accuse my own people.

Therefore, I invite you to meet and speak. I was bound by this chain, which the Israelites had hoped for.

They said, We did not continue to discuss your faith from Judea, nor did any brothers come here to report to us, saying, What is not good for you.

But we are willing to hear your opinion. Because of this sect, we know it is being slandered everywhere.

They made an agreement with Paul on a day, and many people came to his residence. From morning till night, Paul preached to them about this matter, proved the way of the kingdom of God, cited the law of Moses and the books of prophets, and encouraged them about Jesus.

What he said has both faith and disbelief.

They parted ways because they didn’t agree with each other. Before he dispersed, Paul said, ‘The words spoken by the Holy Spirit to your ancestors through the prophet Isaiah are good.’.

He said, Go and tell this people, saying, You hear to hear, but you do not understand. To see is to see, but not to know.

Because of this people, oil has clouded their hearts, their ears are heavy, and their eyes are closed. Perhaps the eyes will see, the ears will hear, and the heart will understand. If they turn around, I will heal them.

Therefore, know that this salvation of God is now transmitted to the Gentiles, and they will also hear it. There are ancient scrolls here,

After Paul said these words, the Jews were discussing and left.

Paul lived in the house he rented for a full two years. He receives everyone who comes to see him,

He boldly preached the word of the kingdom of God, teaching people the things of the Lord Jesus Christ, and no one forbade him.
