After this, Paul left Athens and came to Corinth.

I met a Jewish man named Aquila, who was born in Pontus. Because Claude ordered all the Jews to leave Rome, he recently came from Italy with his wife Priscilla. Paul defected to them.

They used to make tents as their profession. Paul lived and worked with them because he was in the same industry.

On the Sabbath, Paul debated in the synagogue, persuading Jews and Greeks.

When Silas and Timothy came from Macedonia, Paul was eager for the word and proved to the Jews that Jesus was the Christ.

When they resisted and slandered, Paul shook his clothes and said, “Your sins are on your own heads, and I have nothing to do with blood. From now on, I will go to the Gentiles.”,

So he left there and went to the house of a man named Titus Justus, who worshipped God. His house was near the synagogue.

Julius and his entire family, who were in charge of the synagogue, believed in the Lord. Many Corinthians, upon hearing this, believed in baptism.

At night, the Lord said to Paul in a vision, “Don’t be afraid, just speak and don’t shut up.”.

With me with you, no one will harm you. Because I have many people in this city.

Paul stayed there for a year and six months, teaching them the word of God.

When Galileo became the founder of Achaia, the Jews united and attacked Paul, pulling him to the court,

This person advises people not to worship God according to the law.

Just as Paul was about to speak, Galileo said to the Jews, “If you Jews have done anything unjust or wicked, I should be patient and listen to you.”.

But if the dispute is about words, names, and your law, do it yourselves. I don’t want to question such a matter.

Just drive them out of the court.

So the crowd grabbed Sottini, the ruler of the synagogue, and beat him in front of the synagogue. Jialiu doesn’t care about these things.

After staying for many more days, Paul bid farewell to his brothers and sailed to Syria, with Priscilla, Aquila, and him. He had his hair cut in Jiankeli because he had made a wish.

When they arrived at Ephesus, Paul left them there and went into the synagogue to debate with the Jews.

Everyone asked him to stay longer, but he refused.

Say goodbye to them and say, ‘If God allows me, I will come back to you again.’. So he sailed away from Ephesus.

After getting off the ship in Caesarea, he went up to Jerusalem to greet the church, and then went down to Antioch.

After staying there for a while, he left and passed through Galatia and Phrygia in order, strengthening all his disciples.

A Jewish man named Apollos came to Ephesus. He was born in Alexandria and is knowledgeable, best able to explain the Bible. (Learning or eloquence).

This person has already been taught in the way of the Lord, and his heart is burning with passion. He preaches and teaches in detail about Jesus. He only knows about John’s baptism.

He boldly preached in the synagogue, and when Priscilla and Aquila heard it, they brought him and explained the word of God to him in greater detail.

He wants to go to Achaea. The brothers encouraged him and wrote a letter inviting his disciples to receive him. When he arrived there, he greatly helped those who had received grace and faith in the Lord.

He was extremely powerful in front of everyone, refuting the Jews and proving through the Bible that Jesus was the Christ.
