After the chaos was settled, Paul invited his disciples and encouraged them. He bid farewell and set off for Macedonia.

After traveling through the area and using many words to encourage the disciples, they came to Greece.

I stayed there for three months and will be taking a ship to Syria. The Jews plotted to harm him, so he decided to return from Macedonia.

Those who went with him to Asia were Sobad the son of Pyrrhus the Bereanite, Aristarchus the Thessalonian, and Sigondu, as well as Gaius the Tebe and Timothy the Tebe, as well as Tychicus and Trophimus the Assyrian.

These people are waiting for us in Troa first.

After the days of unleavened bread, we sailed from Philippi and arrived at Troas five days ago. We met them and stayed there for seven days.

On the first day of the seventh day, when we were gathering to break bread, Paul preached with them until midnight because he was going to depart the next day.

There are many lamps and candles on the upstairs where we are gathering.

There was a young man named Yutuigu sitting on the windowsill, tired and asleep. Paul talked for a long time, but the young man fell asleep and fell off the third floor. Help him up, he’s already dead.

Paul went down and fell on him, hugging him and saying, Don’t panic, his soul is still on him.

Paul went up again, broke the bread, ate it, and talked for a long time until dawn before leaving.

Someone brought the boy alive and comforted him a lot.

We will first board the ship and sail to Assos, intending to pick up Paul there. Because he arranged it this way, he himself planned to walk.

Since he met us at Ashok, we picked him up and brought him to Mithrini.

We set sail from there and arrived across from Kia the next day. The next day, I docked at Satsuma. The next day, he arrived at Miletus.

Because Paul had already decided to cross Ephesus, so as not to delay in Asia. He hurried forward, hoping to catch up with the Pentecostal festival and arrive in Jerusalem.

Paul sent messengers from Miletus to Ephesus to invite the elders of the church.

When they came, Paul said, You know how I have been among you since the day I came to Asia,

Serving the Lord, humble in all things, with tears in his eyes, and experiencing trials due to the conspiracies of the Jews.

You also know that I have nothing to avoid saying that is beneficial to you. Whether in front of everyone or in each household, I will teach you.

Prove to the Jews and Greeks to repent to God and trust in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Now as I am going to Jerusalem, my heart is very eager, and I do not know what will happen there.

But knowing that the Holy Spirit is testifying to me in every city, saying, There are bonds and afflictions waiting for me.

But I do not regard my life as a concern, nor do I consider it precious. Only by completing my journey and fulfilling the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, will I prove the gospel of God’s grace.

I have always been among you, preaching the kingdom of God, but now I know that you will never see my face again.

So I prove to you today that no one among you dies, and sin does not lie on me. My blood is pure to all.

Because of the will of God, I have not refrained from proclaiming it to you.

The Holy Spirit has appointed you as the overseer of the whole group, so be careful of yourselves and also of the whole group, to feed the church of God, which he has bought with his own blood (or redeemed).

I know that after I go, there will be fierce wolves among you who will not spare their flocks.

Even among you, there will be people who will rise up and speak perverse words, tempting disciples to follow them.

Therefore, be vigilant and remember that for three years I have been shedding tears day and night, admonishing each of you.

Now I entrust you to God and the way of His grace. This way can establish you and give you an inheritance together with all those who are sanctified.

I have never coveted a person’s gold, silver, or clothing.

These two hands of mine often serve the needs of me and my colleagues, as you yourselves know.

I will set an example for you in all things, so that you may know how to work hard and help those who are weak, and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, saying, Giving is more blessed than receiving.

After Paul finished speaking these words, he knelt down and prayed with everyone.

Everyone wept bitterly and hugged Paul’s neck, kissing him.

The saddest thing he said to them was that he couldn’t see my face again in the future. So I sent him on board the ship.
