Acts of the Apostles_Chapter 3

During the prayer in the early morning, Peter and John went up to the temple.

There was a person who was born with a limp and was carried by people every day. He was placed at the entrance of the temple called Meimen and asked for alms from those who entered the temple.

He saw Peter and John about to enter the temple and begged them for alms.

Peter and John fixed their eyes on him. Peter said, “Look at us.”.

That person just keeps an eye on them and hopes for something.

Peter said, I have no gold or silver, but I will give you all that I have. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I will make you rise and walk.

So he took his right hand and helped him up, and his feet and ankle bones immediately became strong.

Just jump up, stand up, and walk again. Entering the temple with them, walking and dancing, praising God.

The people saw him walking and praised God.

Recognizing him as the one who always sat at the beautiful entrance of the temple seeking alms, he was filled with wonder and surprise at what had happened to him.

The man was in the porch called Solomon, pulling Peter and John. All the people ran to them together, feeling very surprised.

When Peter saw it, he said to the people, “O Israelites, why do you consider this matter a wonder?”? Why do you stare at us, thinking that by our own abilities and piety, we make this person walk?

The gods of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who are the gods of our ancestors, have glorified his servant Jesus. But you delivered him to Pilate. Pilate intended to release him, but you abandoned him in front of him.

You have abandoned the Holy and Righteous One, and instead request the release of a murderer to you.

You killed the Lord of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are all witnesses to this matter.

By believing in his name, we have made this person whom you see and know strong. It is precisely the faith he has given that has completely healed this person before all of you.

Brothers, I know that you did this out of ignorance, and so did your rulers.

But God prophesied through the mouths of the prophets that Christ would suffer, and thus it was fulfilled.

Therefore repent and repent, so that your sins may be wiped out, and the day of peace will come from before the Lord.

The Lord will also send Christ Jesus, whom he has reserved for you, to come.

Heaven will keep him until the time of the revival of all things, as God has said through the mouth of the holy prophets since the creation of the world.

Moses once said, “The Lord God will raise up a prophet among your brothers like me, and you will obey everything he says to you.”.

Anyone who does not listen to the prophet will be completely destroyed from among the people.

All the prophets who have prophesied since Samuel have spoken of these days.

You are the descendants of the prophets and have inherited the covenant made between God and your ancestors, which is to say to Abraham, ‘All the tribes of the earth will be blessed through your descendants.’.

Since God has raised up his servant, he will first send him to you and bless you, causing each of you to turn away from sin.
