But you must be cautious. Because people will hand you over to the guild, and you will be whipped in the synagogue. And for my sake, I stand before the princes and kings as witnesses to them.
However, the gospel must first be preached to all nations.
When people bring you to the office, do not think ahead about what to say. At that time, whatever words are given to you, say them, for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.
Brothers will send their brothers, and fathers will send their sons to death. Children should rise up against their parents and harm them.
And you will be hated by all for my name, but those who endure to the end will be saved.
You see those who are despicable and detestable, standing in places where they should not stand. Those who read this scripture must understand that those who are in Judea at that time should flee to the mountains.
Don’t come down from the house, and don’t go in to pick up things from home.
Don’t go back to pick up clothes even if you are in the field.
Woe to those who are pregnant and breastfeeding in those days.
You should pray that these things will not come in winter.
Because in those days there will be disasters, and since God created all things until now, there has been no such disaster. Later on, there will also be none.
If it weren’t for the Lord reducing those days, no one with blood would have been saved. Just the main voter, he reduced those days.
If anyone says to you at that time, ‘Look, Christ is here.’. Or rather, Christ is there. Don’t believe it.
Because false Christ and false prophets are about to rise up and show signs and wonders. If possible, it will confuse the voters.
You must be cautious. Look, I have told you everything in advance.
In those days, after that disaster, the sun would turn black and the moon would not shine,
The stars will fall from heaven, and the heavens will shake.
At that time, they will see the Son of Man with great power and great glory, descending in a cloud.

You can learn an analogy from the fig tree. When the branches are tender and the leaves grow, you know that summer is approaching.
So when you see these things accomplished, you should also know that the Son of Man is near, and the kingdom of God is at the door.
I tell you the truth, this generation has not yet passed away, and all these things will be accomplished.
Heaven and earth will be abolished. My words cannot be invalidated.
But no one knows that day or that hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father knows.
Be careful, watch and pray, for you do not know when that day will come.
This is like a person leaving their own home and living in a foreign land, giving power to their servants, assigning tasks to each person, and commanding the gatekeeper to be vigilant.
So be vigilant, for you do not know when the master of your household will come, whether in the evening, or in the middle of the night, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning.
I’m afraid he’ll suddenly come and see you all asleep.
