In the third year of King Belshazzar’s reign, a vision appeared to me, Daniel, after the vision I had seen before.

When I saw a vision, I thought it was in the city of Shushan in Elam province. I saw a vision as if it were by the Ulai River.

I looked up and saw a ram with two horns standing by the river, both horns high. This corner is higher than that corner, and the higher one is the longer one at the back.

I saw the ram resisting towards the west, north, and south. Beasts cannot stand in front of it, and there is nothing that can rescue them from their hands. But it acts arbitrarily and is arrogant.

While I was thinking, I saw a male goat coming from the west, traversing the entire earth without touching dust on its feet. This goat has a very big horn between its eyes.

It went towards the ram with two horns standing by the river as I saw it, and in great anger, it charged straight towards it.

I saw the male goat approaching the male goat, and I was furious with it, resisting it and breaking its horns. The sheep cannot stand in front of it. It knocked the sheep to the ground, trampled on them with its feet, and there was nothing that could save the sheep from its hands.

This goat is extremely arrogant. When it was growing strong, the big horn broke and four very big horns grew from the root of the horn towards the four directions of heaven.

One of the four corners grows a small horn, which gradually becomes powerful towards the south, east, and beautiful land.

It gradually became stronger, reaching as high as the celestial phenomena, throwing some celestial phenomena and constellations to the ground and trampling them with its feet.

And it is arrogant, thinking that it is as high as the ruler of celestial phenomena. Remove the burnt offerings often offered to you and destroy your sanctuary.

Due to sin, a military force and regular burnt offerings were delivered to it. It throws the truth onto the ground, acting freely without fail.

I heard a Holy One speaking, and another Holy One asked the Holy One who was speaking, “How long will this vision of removing the constant burnt offerings and the sins of destruction, trampling on the sanctuary and the army of Israel, be fulfilled?”?

He said to me, In two thousand and three hundred days, the sanctuary will be clean.

I, Daniel, saw this vision and am willing to understand its meaning. Suddenly, there was a person shaped figure standing in front of me.

I also heard a voice calling from both sides of the Ulai River, saying, Gabriel, make this man understand this vision.

He came to the place where I was standing. As soon as he arrived, I panicked and fell to the ground. He said to me, Son of man, understand that this is a vision concerning the end.

When he spoke to me, I lay face down in a deep sleep. He just touched me, helped me stand up,

Say, I will instruct you to be angry about what is inevitable after the end, because it is about the end of the cycle.

The two horned ram you see is the king of the Medes and Persia.

The male goat is the king of Greece. The big horn between the two eyes is the first king.

As for the broken horn, four horns will grow on its roots, and these four horns will be the four kingdoms that will rise out of this kingdom, but their power will not be as great as theirs.

At the end of these four kingdoms, those who break the law will be filled with sin, and there will be a king who will rise up, with a fierce appearance and the ability to use puns.

His authority will be great, but not because of his own abilities. He will cause great destruction, things will go smoothly, and he will do whatever he wants. And he will destroy the capable and the holy people.

He used his power to accomplish the tricks in his hands, and his heart became arrogant, destroying many people when they were calm and unprepared. Stand up again to attack the ruler of all kings, but ultimately perish not by human hands.

The vision of two thousand and three hundred days is true, but you must seal it up, because it concerns many days to come.

So I, Daniel, went into a coma and fell ill for several days before getting up to handle the king’s affairs. I am amazed by this vision, but no one can understand its meaning.
