King Nebuchadnezzar made a golden statue, sixty cubits high and six cubits wide, and erected it in the plain of Durah in the province of Babylon.

King Nebuchadnezzar sent messengers to summon the governor, imperial envoys, governors, judges, domain officials, counselors, judges, and officials from various provinces to perform the consecration ceremony for the statue that King Nebuchadnezzar had erected.

So the governor, imperial envoys, governors, judges, and officials from various provinces gathered to perform the consecration of the image set up by King Nebuchadnezzar. They stood in front of the image set up by Nebuchadnezzar.

At that time, the messenger shouted loudly, ‘O people of all nations, nations, and tribes, a decree has been issued to you.’,

As soon as you hear the sound of the horn, flute, pipa, harp, lyre, sheng, and all kinds of musical instruments, bow down and worship the golden statue erected by King Nebuchadnezzar.

Anyone who does not bow down and worship will immediately be thrown into the blazing furnace.

Therefore, as soon as the people of all nations and ethnicities heard the sound of the horn, flute, pipa, harp, lyre, and all kinds of musical instruments, they all fell down and worshipped the golden statue erected by King Nebuchadnezzar.

At that time, several Chaldeans came forward to accuse the Jews.

They said to King Nebuchadnezzar, May the king live forever.

King, you have decreed that anyone who hears the sound of the horn, flute, pipa, qin, zither, sheng, and all kinds of musical instruments should bow down and worship the golden statue.

Anyone who does not bow down and worship will be thrown into a blazing furnace.

There are several Jews now, including Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, whom the king has appointed to manage the affairs of the province of Babylon. King, these people do not pay attention to you, do not serve your gods, and do not worship the golden image you have erected.

At that time, Nebuchadnezzar was furious and ordered that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego be brought over, and they brought those people before the king.

Nebuchadnezzar asked them, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, did you not serve my God or worship the golden image I have set up intentionally?”?

If you hear the sound of the horn, flute, pipa, qin, zither, sheng, and all kinds of instruments again, and bow down and worship the image I have made, yet it is still possible. If you do not worship, you will immediately be thrown into a burning furnace. What god can save you from my hands?

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego said to the king, ‘Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to answer you about this matter.’.

Nevertheless, the God we serve can save us from the blazing furnace. King, he will also save us from your hands.

Even if it is not, O king, know that we will never serve your God or worship the golden image you have set up.

At that time, Nebuchadnezzar was filled with anger and his face changed towards Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. He ordered that the kiln be heated seven times hotter than usual.

And he commanded several strong men in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and throw them into the blazing furnace.

These three people, wearing pants, inner robes, outer garments, and other clothes, were tied up and thrown into the blazing kiln.

Because the king’s order was urgent and the kiln was very hot, the people who carried Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were all burned to death by the flames of fire.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were all bound and fell into the blazing furnace.

At that time, King Nebuchadnezzar was amazed and quickly got up. He said to the counselor, “Aren’t there three people I tied up and threw into the fire?”? They answered the king, “Yes, king.”.

The king said, “Look, I see four people who are not bound, marching in the fire, and not injured.”. The fourth one looks like a godson.

So Nebuchadnezzar approached the door of the furnace of blazing fire and said, “Come up here, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, servants of the Most High God.”. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out of the fire.

The governors, envoys, governors, and the king’s advisors gathered together to see these three people. They saw that the fire was powerless to harm their bodies, their hair was not burnt, their clothes did not change color, and there was no smell of fire.

Nebuchadnezzar said, Blessed be the gods of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. He sent messengers to rescue his servants who relied on him, but they did not obey the king’s orders, sacrificed themselves, and refused to serve or worship other gods beyond their own.

Now I issue an edict to slander people from any place, country, or ethnicity?? The gods of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego will be delayed, and their houses will become piles of dung, for no other god can save them like this.

At that time, the king elevated Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the province of Babylon.
