圣经And Eliphaz the Teman answered, saying,
How can humans benefit God? Wise people can benefit themselves.
Do you make the Almighty rejoice in your righteousness? How can he benefit from your complete behavior?
Do you blame and judge you because you fear him?
Isn’t your sin great? Your sins are not endless.
Because you forcibly took your brothers as collateral without reason, and stripped the clothes of the poor.
The tired person, you haven’t given him water to drink. Hungry people, you haven’t given them food.
A capable person gains the land. Noble people also live in it.
You send the widow back empty handed, breaking the arm of the orphan.
Therefore, a net surrounds you, and fear suddenly makes you fearful.
Or darkness may deceive you, and floods may flood you.
Isn’t God in high heaven? How high do you think the stars are?
You said, what does God know? How can he see through the darkness and carry out judgment?
The dense clouds covered him, preventing him from seeing. He travels around the sky.
Do you want to follow the ancient way? This is what wicked people do.
They were not yet at the time of death when suddenly they were eradicated. The foundation is destroyed, as if washed away by rivers.
They said to God, leave us. And what can the Almighty do to us?
Unexpectedly, God filled their houses with beautiful things. But what the wicked have planned is far from me.
The righteous rejoice when they see their end. Innocent people mock them.
The ones who attacked us were indeed cut off, and the rest were burned down by fire.
If you want to know God, you will have peace. Fortune will also come to you.
Receive his teachings from his mouth, and keep his words in your heart.
If you turn to the Almighty and uproot unrighteousness from your tents, you will be established.
Throw your treasures into the dust, and the gold of Ophir among the stones of the rivers.
The Almighty will be your treasure and your precious silver.
You should rejoice in the Almighty and lift your face up to God.
If you pray to him, he will listen to you. You also have to fulfill your wish.
Whatever you decide to do will surely be accomplished for you. The light will also shine on your path.
If someone makes you humble, you can still say that you will be elevated. Humble people will be saved by God.
Man is not innocent, but God will deliver him. He will be saved because your hands are clean.
