job _Chapter 34
Elihu also said,
You wise men, listen to my words. People with knowledge should pay attention to what I say.
Because the ears test words, as if tasting food in the mouth.
We should choose what is right and know each other what is good.
Job once said, I am righteous, and God has taken away my judgment.
Although I am reasonable, I can still be considered a liar. Although I have never been guilty, the injuries I have suffered cannot be cured.
Who is like Job, drinking mockery like drinking water?
He accompanies the evildoers and walks with the wicked.
He said that it is always useless for people to take pleasure in God.
So you rational people, listen to me. God will not do evil, and the Almighty will not do evil.
He will repay people according to their deeds, so that everyone will receive what they have done.
God will not do evil, and the Almighty will not deviate from justice.
Who sent him to govern the land and stabilize the whole world?
If he focuses on himself and brings back his spirit and energy.
All flesh shall die together, and all men shall return to dust.
If you are rational, listen to my words and pay attention to the sound of my words.
Can those who hate fairness hold power? Can the righteous and powerful be condemned?
He said to the king, You are despicable. To your esteemed minister, you are evil.
He does not show favoritism towards the prince, nor does he value the wealthy over the poor, because they are all made by his hands.
In the blink of an eye, they died in the middle of the night. The people were shaken and passed away. Those who have power are taken away without borrowing manpower.
God gazes upon the path of men and discerns their steps.
There is no darkness, and shadows can provide a hiding place for wrongdoers.
God judges people without causing them to come before him and examine them repeatedly.
He used unpredictable methods to break down capable people and set up others to replace them.
He knew their behavior, causing them to fall and perish at night.
He struck them in front of everyone, just as he struck the wicked.
Because they deviate from following him and do not pay attention to his ways,
Even make the mournful voices of the poor reach him. He also heard the cries of the poor.
He makes people quiet, who can disturb (or convict)? Who can see him when he covers his face? This is true for both a country and a person.
To prevent ungrateful people from becoming kings, so that no one may cage the people.
Who said to God, ‘I have been punished and will no longer sin.’.
What I don’t understand, please teach me. If I do evil, I will not do it again.
Should he follow your wishes and make you refuse to accept his retribution? You were chosen, not me. Just say what you know.
A wise person and a wise person who listens to me will speak to me.
Job speaks without knowledge, and there is no wisdom in his words.
May Job be tested to the end, for he answers like an evil man.
He added rebellion to his sin. Clap your hands among us and use many words to mock God.
