Hebrews_Chapter 1

God, through his prophets in ancient times, has repeatedly and extensively spoken to his ancestors,

In these last times, through his son he prophesied to us, and he had already been appointed as the heir of all things, and through him he created all worlds.

He is the radiance of God’s glory, the true image of God’s essence, who upholds all things with the commands of his power. He cleanses people of sin and sits on the right hand of the Most High One.

The name he bears, being more noble than the name of an angel, far exceeds that of an angel.

All the angels, to which one God has ever said, You are my son, and I have given birth to you today. And pointing to that one, he said, I will be his father, and he will be my son.

Furthermore, when God brought the firstborn into the world, he said, All the angels of God shall worship him.

When it comes to messengers, it is said that God uses wind as messengers and flames as servants.

But when it comes to the Son, he said, O God, your throne is forever and ever, and your kingdom is upright.

You love righteousness and hate sin. So God is your God, anointing you with the oil of joy, more than anointing your companions.

And he said, Lord, at the beginning you laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens were also made by your hands.

Heaven and earth will perish, but you will endure. Heaven and earth will gradually become old like clothes.

You must roll up the heavens and the earth like a cloak, and they will all change. Only you will never change, your years are endless.

All the angels, to which one God has said, Sit on my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.

Aren’t all angels serving spirits sent to serve those who are about to receive salvation?
