Exodus_Chapter 31

The Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

See, among the tribes of Judah, I have called Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, by his name.

I have also filled him with my spirit, giving him wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and the ability to do all kinds of work,

Can come up with clever craftsmanship, using gold, silver, and copper to make various objects,

Can also carve gemstones, inlay, carve wood, and perform all kinds of work.

I assigned Aholiab son of Ahisamach to work with him in the tribe of Dan. And to all those who have wisdom in their hearts, I will give them wisdom to do all that I command,

It is the tabernacle of the congregation, the ark of the testimony, and the grace seat above it, and all the utensils in the tabernacle of the congregation,

The table and its utensils, the pure gold lampstand and all its utensils, as well as the altar of incense,

The altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, as well as the washbasin and its base,

The ceremonial attire of refined work, and the holy garments used by Aaron the priest and his sons for the priesthood,

Cream and fragrant spices for the sanctuary. They will all do as I command them.

The Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

Command the Israelites, saying, Keep my Sabbath, for it is a sign between you and me for generations to come, so that you may know that I, the Lord, have made you holy.

So you must observe the Sabbath as a holy day. Anyone who violates this day shall be put to death, and anyone who works on this day shall be cut off from the people.

Six days of work shall be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath day, holy to the Lord. Anyone who works on the Sabbath shall be put to death.

Therefore, the Israelites shall keep the Sabbath as an eternal covenant for generations to come.

This is eternal evidence for me and the Israelites, because in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested and was at ease.

After the Lord finished speaking to Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him two tablets of the Testament, which God had written with his fingers.
