圣经These are the commandments, laws, and ordinances that the Lord your God has commanded and taught you, to be followed in the land you are going to inherit,
So that you and your descendants may fear the Lord your God all your life, and keep all his laws and commandments, which I have commanded you, so that your days may be long.
Listen, O Israel, and be careful to do it, so that you may enjoy your blessings in the land flowing with milk and honey, and your number will increase greatly, just as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, promised you.
Israel, listen. The Lord our God is the One Lord.
You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength.
Remember all the words I command you today,
Also, teach your children a lesson diligently. Whether you’re sitting at home, walking on the road, lying down, or getting up, talk about it.
Also, tie it on your hand as a symbol and wear it on your forehead as a scripture.
And write it on the doorframe of your house and on your city gate.
The Lord your God has brought you into the land he swore to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to give you. There are cities there, big and beautiful, which you did not build.
There is a house filled with all kinds of beautiful things, not what you have filled. There is a well that has been chiseled, not one that you have chiseled. And there are vineyards, olive groves, not what you planted. You have eaten and are full.
Be careful at that time, so that you do not forget the Lord who brought you out of the land of Egypt, the house of slavery.
Fear the Lord your God, serve him, and swear by his name.
Do not follow other gods, the gods of the nations around you.
For the Lord your God, who is among you, is a jealous God, afraid that the Lord your God’s anger will rage against you and destroy you from the earth.
Do not test the Lord your God, as you did in Massah.
Pay attention to keeping the commandments, testimonies, and laws commanded by the Lord your God.
Do what is right and good in the eyes of the Lord, so that you may enjoy your blessings and go in to obtain the beautiful land that the Lord swore to your ancestors,
Drive out all your enemies from before you, as the Lord has said.
In the future, your son will ask you, ‘What do these testimonies, laws, and judgments that the Lord our God has commanded you?’?
Tell your son that we were slaves to Pharaoh in Egypt. The Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand,
Before our eyes, great and terrible miracles and wonders will be performed on the land of Egypt, Pharaoh, and his entire family,
Bring us out from there, to bring us into the land he swore to our ancestors and give it to us.
The Lord has commanded us to follow all these laws and to fear the Lord our God, so that we may always benefit and be saved by him, as it is today.
If we keep and do all the commandments that the Lord our God has commanded us, this is our righteousness.
