Deuteronomy_Chapter 28

If you pay attention to obeying the words of the Lord your God and keep and do all his commandments, which I have commanded you today, he will make you above all the people of the earth.

If you obey the word of the Lord your God, these blessings will follow you and come upon you,

You will be blessed in the city, and you will also be blessed in the fields.

The offspring of your body, the offspring of the earth, the offspring of your livestock, as well as your calves and lambs, will be blessed.

Your basket and your kneading bowl will be blessed.

You are blessed both when you go out and when you enter.

When enemies rise up against you, the Lord will cause them to be defeated before you. They will attack you from one path, but they will flee from seven paths.

In your warehouse and in all the work of your hands, the blessing of the Lord will come upon you. The Lord your God will also bless you in the land he has given you.

If you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in his ways, he will make you his holy people, as he swore to you.

When all the people of the world see that you are under the name of the Lord, they will fear you.

On the land that the Lord swore to your ancestors to give you, he will make more than enough for the offspring of your body, the offspring of your livestock, and the produce of the land.

The Lord will open a treasury in heaven for you, and it will rain on your land at the right time. Blessing you in everything you do in your hands. You will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow from them.

If you obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I have commanded you today, and keep them, and do not turn to the right or the left, nor do you follow in serving other gods, then the Lord will make you the first and not the last, but you will dwell above and not below.

If you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God and do not keep and do all his commandments and laws, which I have commanded you today, all these curses will follow you and come upon you,

Cursed be you in the city, and cursed in the field.

Your basket and your kneading bowl will be cursed.

Cursed be the offspring of your body, the offspring of the earth, and the calves and lambs.

You are cursed when you go out, and cursed when you go in.

The Lord will bring a curse, a disturbance, and a punishment upon you in all the things that you do in your hands because of your evil deeds, until you are destroyed and destroyed quickly.

The Lord will spread a plague on you until he destroys you from the land where you enter to inherit.

The Lord will attack you with tuberculosis, fever, fire, malaria, sword, drought, and mold. This will chase after you until you are destroyed.

The sky above your head will turn into copper, and the earth under your feet will turn into iron.

The Lord will turn the rain that falls on your land into dust and sand, and it will come on you from heaven until you are destroyed.

The Lord will make you defeated before your enemies, and you will attack them by one path, but you will flee by seven paths. You will be thrown back and forth among all the nations under heaven.

Your body will be used as food for the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth, and no one will drive them away.

The Lord will attack you with the sores and hemorrhoids of the Egyptians, psoriasis and scabs, so that you cannot be healed.

The Lord will attack you with madness, blindness, and a troubled heart.

You will grope in the afternoon, like a blind man groping in the dark. Your actions will not prosper, and you will often face oppression and plunder, with no one to rescue you.

If you have hired a wife, others must have sex with her. You are not allowed to live in a house when you build it. You shall plant a vineyard and not use its fruits.

Your cow has been slaughtered before your eyes, and you must not eat its meat. Your donkey has been robbed in front of you and cannot be returned. Your sheep have returned to their enemies, and there is no one to rescue them.

Your children will return to the people of other nations. Your eyes are eager all day long, even blind, and your hands are powerless to save.

Your land and the fruits of your labor will be consumed by the people you do not know. You are often bullied and suppressed,

Even what you see in your eyes will drive you crazy.

The Lord will attack you, causing you to have incurable sores on your knees and legs, from the soles of your feet to your head.

The Lord will bring you and your king to a kingdom that you and your ancestors have never known. There you will serve the gods of wood and stone.

You will be a terror, a laughingstock, and a mocker among the nations that the Lord has brought you.

Although you bring many seeds into the field, you harvest few because they have been eaten by locusts.

You plant and repair vineyards, but you cannot harvest grapes or drink wine because they are eaten by insects.

You have olive trees throughout your territory, but you cannot anoint yourself with their oil, because the olives on the trees are not ripe and fall off.

You have children and adopted daughters, but they are not considered yours, because they will be taken captive.

All your trees and the produce of your land will be eaten by locusts.

Those who reside among you will gradually rise higher and higher than you. You will gradually decline, low and low.

He will lend it to you, but you cannot lend it to him. He will be the first, and you will be the last.

All these curses will follow you and catch up with you until you are destroyed. Because you did not obey the voice of the Lord your God and did not keep the commandments and laws he commanded.

These curses will become signs and wonders on you and your descendants forever.

Because when you were wealthy, you served the Lord your God with displeasure and gladness,

So you will serve the enemies sent by the Lord to attack you in hunger, thirst, nakedness, and lack. He will put an iron yoke on your neck until he destroys you.

The Lord will bring a nation from afar, from the ends of the earth, like eagles flying against you. You don’t understand the language of this people.

The face of this people is fierce, they do not show concern for the elderly or show kindness to the young.

They will eat the food of your livestock and the produce of your land until you are destroyed. Your grains, new wine, and oil, as well as your calves and lambs, will not be left for you until you are destroyed.

They will besiege you in all your cities until the high and strong walls in which you rely are destroyed. They will trap you in all the cities throughout the land that the Lord your God has given you.

In the siege and distress of your enemies, you will eat the flesh of your own offspring, which the Lord your God has given you.

The weak and delicate among you will have evil eyes on his brothers, his wife in his arms, and his remaining children.

Even in the city where you are besieged and embarrassed by enemies, he will eat the flesh of his children and refuse to give any to his relatives, because he has nothing left.

The delicate and delicate woman among you, who refuses to put her feet on the ground due to her delicacy, will have evil eyes on her husband and her children in her arms.

The baby that comes out between her legs and the children she is going to have, she will secretly eat them in the city where you are besieged and in distress by enemies because she lacks everything.

All the words of the law written in this book are to make you fear the glorious and terrible name of the Lord your God. If you do not keep and do it diligently, the Lord will bring upon you and your descendants a great and long-lasting calamity, a severe and long-lasting illness,

And it will cause all the diseases of the Egyptians that you fear to come upon you, and they will stick to you,

And he will bring upon you all kinds of diseases and plagues that are not written in this book of the law, until you are destroyed.

Although you were as many as the stars in the sky before, the number of you who remained was sparse because you did not obey the voice of the Lord your God.

Just as the Lord had previously rejoiced in treating you well and making you numerous, so he will also rejoice in destroying you and causing you to perish. And you will be uprooted from the land you are about to enter and obtain.

The Lord will scatter you among all the people, from one end of the earth to the other, and you will serve gods of wood and stone that you and your ancestors did not know before.

In those countries, you will not have comfort or a place to rest. But the Lord made your heart skip there, your eyes blind, and your spirit drained.

Your life will be in jeopardy. You fear day and night, thinking that your life is in danger.

Because of what you fear in your heart and what you see in your eyes, you will say in the morning, “I wish it were good at night.”. It must be said at night that it’s better to wait until morning.

The Lord will send you back to Egypt by boat, following the path that I told you never to see again. There you will sell yourself to your enemies as slaves, but no one will buy you.
