Deuteronomy_Chapter 27

Moses and all the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandments…

Moses and all the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandments that I command you today.

When you cross the Jordan River and arrive at the land that the Lord your God has given you, you must set up several large stones on that day and coat them with plaster,

Write all the words of this law on stones. When you cross the river, you will enter the land that the Lord your God has given you, flowing with milk and honey, just as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, has promised you.

When you have crossed the Jordan River, you must set up these stones on Mount Ebal, as I have commanded you today, and coat them with lime.

Build a stone altar there for the Lord your God. Do not move iron tools on stones.

Build the altar of the Lord your God with uncut stones, and offer burnt offerings to the Lord your God on the altar.

And offer a sacrifice of peace offerings, and eat there, and rejoice before the Lord your God.

Write all the words of this law clearly on stones.

Moses and the priests Levites spoke to all Israel, saying, O Israel, be silent and listen. You have become the people of the Lord your God today.

Therefore, obey the voice of the Lord your God and follow his commandments and laws, which I have commanded you today.

On that day, Moses commanded the people, saying,

After crossing the Jordan River, the six tribes of Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin shall stand on Mount Kirizim to bless the people.

The six tribes of Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali will all stand on Mount Ebal and proclaim a curse.

The Levites shall speak loudly to all Israel,

Cursed be the one who makes idols that the Lord detests, whether they carve or cast, the work of craftsmen, and sets them up in secret. The people will all agree and say, Amen.

Cursed be he who disdains his parents. The people will all say, Amen.

Cursed be he who moves the boundaries of his neighbor’s land. The people will all say, Amen.

Cursed be he who leads the blind astray. The people will all say, Amen.

Cursed be the one who distorts righteousness towards the sojourner, the orphan, and the widow. The people will all say, Amen.

Cursed be those who commit adultery with their stepmother. Because he opened his father’s collar. The people will all say, Amen.

Cursed be those who have sexual intercourse with beasts. The people will all say, Amen.

Cursed is anyone who commits adultery with a sisters who is of a different father or mother. The people will all say, Amen.

Cursed be those who commit adultery with their mother-in-law. The people will all say, Amen.

Cursed be he who kills in secret. The people will all say, Amen.

Cursed be he who takes bribes and kills innocent people. The people will all say, Amen.

Cursed be those who do not keep and follow the words of this law. The people will all say, Amen.
