Deuteronomy_Chapter 2
Afterwards, we turned back and headed towards the wilderness by the way of the Red Sea, as the Lord had commanded me. We traveled around Mount Seir for many days.
The Lord said to me,
You have enough days to detour this mountain, turn north.
Command the people, saying, Your brothers, the descendants of Esau, shall dwell in Seir, and ye shall pass through their borders. They will fear you, so be extra cautious.
Do not fight against them. I will not give you their land, even the place where the soles of their feet can tread, because I have given Mount Seir to Esau as an inheritance.
You must use money to buy them food to eat, and also use money to buy them water to drink.
Because the Lord your God has blessed you in all the things you do in your hands. You walked through this vast wilderness, he knew it all. For these forty years, the Lord your God has always been with you, so you have not lacked anything.
So we departed from Seir, where our brothers the descendants of Esau resided, and passed through Elath and Ezion Geber by the way of Arabah, and turned to the way of the wilderness of Moab.
The Lord commanded me, saying, Do not disturb the Moabites, and do not fight against them. I will not give you their land as an inheritance, because I have given Ar to the descendants of Lot as an inheritance.
Previously, there were Emi people living there, many in number and tall in stature, like the Anakites.
This Emi person is like an Anak person. He can also be considered a person of Li Fa Yin. The Moabites called them the Emites.
Previously, the Horites also lived in Seir, but the descendants of Esau destroyed them, obtained their land, and continued to dwell, just as Israel did in the land given to him by the Lord as an inheritance
Now, get up and cross the Sarai River. So we crossed the Sarai River.
From the time they left Kadesh Barnea and crossed the Zareth River, there were a total of thirty-eight years, until all the soldiers of that generation were destroyed from the camp, as the Lord swore to them.
The hand of the Lord also attacked them, destroying them from the camp until they were completely destroyed.
After all the soldiers and soldiers were wiped out from the people and died,
The Lord commanded me, saying,
You are going to pass through the border of Moab, Ar, today,
Approaching the land of the children of Ammon, do not disturb them or engage in war with them. I will not give you the land of the children of Ammon as an inheritance, because I have given it to the descendants of Lot as an inheritance.
That land is also considered as the land of the Rephaim people. Previously, the Rephaim people lived there, and the Ammonites called them Sanzom.
The people were numerous and tall, like the Anakites, but the Lord destroyed them from before the children of Ammon, and they obtained their land and continued to live there.
Just as the Lord destroyed the Horites from before them for the descendants of Esau who lived in Seir, and they obtained the land of the Horites and continued to live there until today.
The people of Capetto who came out of Capetto destroyed the Avian people who had previously lived in the countryside until Gaza, and continued to live there
Get up and go over the Arnon Valley. I have handed over King Sihon of Heshbon, the Amorite, and his land into your hands. Fight against him and take his land as your inheritance.
From today on, I will make all the people of the world tremble and mourn because of your reputation, causing them to hear it with fear and fear.
I sent messengers from the wilderness of Kekimo to King Sihon of Heshbon, speaking in peace,
Please allow me to pass through your land, only by the main road, without turning left or right.
You can sell me food or water to drink, just let me walk over,
Just as the descendants of Esau who lived in Seir and the Moabites who lived in Ar treated me, so that I could cross the Jordan River and enter the land that the Lord our God has given us.
But King Sihon of Heshbon did not allow us to pass through him. Because the Lord your God has made his heart hard and his character stubborn, in order to deliver him into your hands, as it is today.
The Lord said to me, From now on, I will give you Sihon and his land. You need to take his land as your career.
At that time, Sihon and all his people came out to attack us and fought against us in Jaza.
The Lord our God handed him over to us, and we killed him, his sons, and all his people.
We have taken all his cities and destroyed every inhabited city, including women and children, leaving no one behind.
Only the livestock and the cities they took, along with their plunder, were taken as their own plunder.
From Aroer by the valley of Arnon and the cities in the valley, even to Gilead, the Lord our God has handed over to us; there is no city so high that we cannot take it.
But the land of the children of Ammon, all the land near the Jabbok River, and all the cities in the mountains, and all the places that the Lord our God forbade us from going, did not come near.
