And Jesus spoke to them in parables, saying,

The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepares a wedding banquet for his son.

Then he sent his servants to invite those who were called to the banquet. But they refused to come.

And the king sent other servants, saying, Tell those who are called that my feast is ready, and the ox and the fat beast are slaughtered, and all things are ready. Please come to the banquet.

Those people ignored and left. Go to your own field. One goes for business.

The rest captured their servants, insulted them, and killed them.

The king was furious and sent troops to destroy the murderers, burning down their cities.

So he said to his servant, “The wedding banquet is ready, but the people he has called are not worthy.”.

So go up to the fork in the road, and summon everyone you meet to the banquet.

Those servants went out onto the road and gathered everyone they met, regardless of good or evil. The banquet was filled with guests.

Wang came in to observe the guests and saw someone there who was not wearing formal attire.

Just say to him, friend, why don’t you wear formal attire when you’re here? That person has no words to answer.

So the king said to the messengers, ‘Tie up his hands and feet, and throw him into the darkness outside.’. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Because there are more people called up and fewer people elected.

At that time, the Pharisees went out to discuss how to frame him according to Jesus’ words.

And they sent their disciples, together with the Herodians, to Jesus, saying, Master, we know that you are an honest man, and that you preach the word of God in truth and truthfulness. You do not show partiality to anyone, because you do not consider their appearance.

Please let us know your opinion. Is it possible to pay taxes to Caesar.

Jesus saw their malice and said, “Why tempt me, you hypocrites?”.

Show me a taxed amount of money. They will give him a silver coin.

Jesus said, Whose image and name are these.

They said, it is Caesar’s. Jesus said, In this way, the things that are Caesar should be given to Caesar, and the things that are God should be given to God.

They were amazed when they heard it and left him.

Sadducees often say that there is no resurrection. That day, they came to ask Jesus, saying,

Master, Moses said, “If a man dies without children, his brother should marry his wife and have children for his brother.”.

Once upon a time, there were seven brothers here. The first one married, died, had no children, and left his wife for his brother.

The second, third, and seventh ones are like this.

In the end, the woman also died.

So when she comes back to life, which of the seven wives will she be? Because they have all married her.

Jesus answered and said, You are wrong. Because I do not understand the Bible, nor do I know the power of God.

When resurrected, people neither marry nor marry, but are like angels in heaven.

Have you not read what God said to you in the scripture about the resurrection of the dead?

He said, I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. God is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living.

When they heard these words, they were amazed at his teaching.

When the Pharisees heard that Jesus had stopped the mouth of the Sadducees, they gathered together.

One of them was a lawyer who wanted to test Jesus, and he asked him,

Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?

Jesus said to him, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your heart.”.

This is the first and greatest warning hit.

Secondly, it is also similar, which is to love others as oneself.

These two commandments are the general outline of the law and all the teachings of the prophets.

When the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,

What is your opinion on Christ? Who is his descendant? They answered, ‘They are the descendants of David.’.

Jesus said, How can David still be called Lord when he is moved by the Holy Spirit. Say,

The Lord said to my Lord, ‘Sit on my right side until I put your enemies under your feet.’.

David calls him Lord, how can he be David’s son again?

None of them can answer a word. From that day on, no one dared to ask him anything again.
