Exodus_Chapter 4
Moses replied, “They will not believe me, nor will they listen to my words. They will say, ‘The Lord has not appeared to you.'”.
The Lord said to Moses, “What is in your hand?”? He said, it’s a cane.
The Lord said, Throw it to the ground. As soon as he threw it down, it turned into a snake, and Moses ran away.
The Lord said to Moses, ‘Stretch out your hand and take its tail, and it will still become a staff in your hand.’,
So that they may believe that the Lord, the God of their ancestors, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you.
And the Lord said to him, Put your hands in your arms. He put his hand in his arms and even pulled it out, but to his surprise, his hand grew leprosy, as white as snow.
The Lord said, Put your hand in your arms again. He put his hand in his arms again, and even pulled it out of his arms. Unexpectedly, his hand had recovered and was like the flesh around him,
And he said, If they do not listen to your words or believe in the first miracle, they will believe in the second miracle.
If you do not believe in these two miracles and do not listen to you, then take some water from the river and pour it on the dry land. The water you take from the river will turn into blood on the dry land.
Moses said to the Lord, Lord, I have never been a speechless person, even since you spoke to your servants. I was originally clumsy with my mouth and tongue.
The Lord said to him, “Who made a man’s mouth?”? Who makes the population mute, deaf, visually impaired, and blind? Isn’t it me, Jehovah?
Go now, I will give you eloquence and teach you what to say.
Moses said, Lord, send whoever you wish to send.
The Lord was angry with Moses and said, “Isn’t there your brother Aaron the Levite?”? I know he can speak, and now he comes out to greet you. As soon as he sees you, his heart rejoices.
Tell him what you should say, and I will give you and him eloquence, and teach you what you should do.
He will speak to the people on your behalf, and you will take him as your mouth, and he will take you as God.
You need to hold this staff in your hand to perform miracles.
So Moses returned to his father-in-law Jethro and said to him, “Please allow me to go back and see my brothers in Egypt, and see if they are still there.”. And Jethro said to Moses, Go in peace.
The Lord said to Moses in Midian, “Go back to Egypt, because all those who are seeking your life have died.”.
Moses took his wife and two sons and instructed them to ride donkeys back to the land of Egypt. Moses held the staff of God in his hand.
The Lord said to Moses, When you return to Egypt, pay attention to doing all the wonders that I have shown you before Pharaoh. But I will harden his heart, and he will not let the people go.
You shall say to Pharaoh, This is what the Lord says: Israel is my son, my firstborn.
I have told you to let my son go so that he can serve me. You still refuse to let him go. Look, I’m going to kill your eldest son.
Moses was lodging on the road when the Lord met him and wanted to kill him.
Then Zipporah took a piece of flint, cut off his son’s foreskin, and threw it at Moses’ feet, saying, You are truly my bloodthirsty man.
So the Lord released him. Xipola said, “You have become a blood man because of circumcision.”.
The Lord said to Aaron, “Go into the wilderness to meet Moses.”. He went and met Moses on the mountain of God, kissing him.
Moses told Aaron the words the Lord had sent him and the miracles he had instructed him to do.
Moses and Aaron went and gathered all the elders of Israel.
Aaron recounted all the words that the Lord had said to Moses, and performed those miracles in the eyes of the people,
The people believed. When the Israelites heard that the Lord had visited them and observed their suffering, they bowed down and worshipped.
