The king brought Haman to the banquet of Queen Esther.

For the second time before the banquet, the king asked Esther again, ‘Queen Esther, what do you want? I will give it to you.’. What do you ask for? Even half of the country will achieve it for you.

Queen Esther replied, “If I find favor in the eyes of the king, and the king finds it pleasing, what I desire is that the king may give me my life.”. What I am seeking is for the king to give me my own race.

Because I and my people have been sold, they will cut off, kill, and destroy us. If we are sold as slaves, I will remain silent. But the enemy cannot make up for the king’s losses.

King Ahasuerus asked Queen Esther, “Who is this who dares to rebel and do this?”. Where is this person?

Esther said, The enemy is this wicked Haman. Haman was greatly frightened in front of the king and queen.

The king was furious and got up, leaving the banquet and heading towards the imperial garden. When Haman saw that the king had determined to add sin to him, he stood up and begged Queen Esther to save his life.

The king returned from the royal garden to the banquet and saw Haman lying on the couch where Esther was leaning. The king said, How dare he insult the queen in front of me in the palace? As soon as these words came out of the king’s mouth, Haman’s face was covered.

A eunuch named Habnah, who served the king, said, “Haman made a five foot high wooden frame for Mordecai, who saved the king, and it is now standing in Haman’s house.”. Wang said, hang Haman on it.

So they hung Haman on the wooden frame he had prepared for Mordecai. The king’s anger finally subsided.
