On the seventh day, King Ahasuerus drank wine and felt happy in his heart. He ordered the seven eunuchs who were standing before him, Mihuman, Besta, Habnah, Bigta, Abatta, Zedar, and Kaga,

Queen Vashti refused to follow the king’s orders from the eunuchs, so the king became very angry and his heart burned like fire.

At that time, the king’s face was commonly seen on both sides of the king, and there were seven officials from Persia and the Medes who held high positions in the kingdom, namely Kashinah, Shedar, Abmatah, Tashz, Mil, Masina, and Mimkan, all wise men of the times. According to Wang’s convention, when handling matters, one must first inquire with someone who knows the rules and regulations. Wang asked them and said,

What should Queen Vashti do as usual if she did not follow the royal orders passed down by the eunuchs?

Mimgan answered in front of the king and all the leaders, saying that Queen Vashti’s actions not only offended the king, but also harmed the subjects of the king’s provinces.

For this matter concerning the queen will be heard in the ears of all women, saying, King Ahasuerus commanded Queen Vash to bring it before the king, but she did not come, and they despised their husbands.

Today, when the wives of Persia and Medes hear about the queen’s affairs, they will do the same to the king’s ministers. From now on, there will be great contempt and anger.

If the king finds it beautiful, he will issue a decree to be written in the laws of Persia and the Medes, which will never be changed, and will not allow Vashti to come before the king again and give her queen’s position to those who are better than her.

The decree that was decreed shall spread throughout the kingdom (which is already vast), and all women, regardless of their husband’s status, shall respect him.

The king and all the leaders praised the words of Mimukan, and the king followed them,
