主与我们同在

1 Corinthians_Chapter 1

Paul, who was called as an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and his brother Sosthenes,

To the church of God in Corinth, which is sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be saints, and to all those who call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ everywhere. Christ is their Lord and also our Lord.

May grace and peace be upon you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

I am always grateful to my God for the grace he has bestowed upon you in Christ Jesus.

And because you are rich in all things within him, and your eloquence and knowledge are complete.

As I have testified for Christ, I have been strengthened in your hearts.

So that there is nothing in your gifts that is inferior to others. Waiting for our Lord Jesus Christ to appear.

He will also strengthen you to the end, so that you will be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

God is faithful, for you were called by him to score with his son, our Lord Jesus Christ.

Brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I urge you all to speak the same words. You cannot separate parties between you. As long as we are wholeheartedly aligned with each other.

Because the members of the Kelai family once mentioned to me their brothers, saying that there is a division among you.

What I mean is that each of you says, ‘I am of Paul.’. I belong to Apollo. I belong to Jifa. I am of Christ.

Is Christ separate? Did Paul crucify you? Have you been baptized in the name of Paul?

I am grateful to God that I have not baptized any of you, except for Julius and Caius.

Lest anyone say that you were baptized in my name.

I have also baptized the family of Stephen. Besides baptizing others, I can’t remember clearly.

Christ did not send me for baptism, but for preaching the gospel. Do not use wise words to prevent the cross of Christ from being empty.

Because of the doctrine of the cross, those who perish are foolish. Among us who are saved, it is the power of God.

As it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and abandon the understanding of the wise.

Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where are the debaters in this world? Isn’t God making the wisdom of this world foolish?

By their own wisdom, since they do not know God, God is willing to save those who believe by the foolish teachings of men. This is the wisdom of God.

Jews seek miracles, Greeks seek wisdom.

We are the Christ who preached the crucifixion, a stumbling block for the Jews and a fool for the Gentiles.

But in those who are called, whether it be Jews, Greeks, or Christ, it is the power and wisdom of God.

Because God’s foolishness is greater than human wisdom. God’s weakness is always stronger than man’s.

Brothers, it is evident that there are not many who are called according to the flesh, but have wisdom, power, and honor.

But God has chosen the foolish in the world, causing the wise to be ashamed. And he chose the weak in the world, to put the strong to shame.

God has also chosen the lowly and despised in the world, as well as the nothingness, in order to abolish that which is.

So that no one with blood may boast before God.

But in Christ Jesus, you are from God, and God has made him our wisdom, righteousness, holiness, and redemption.

As it is written, those who boast should boast about the Lord.
