主与我们同在

1 Corinthians_Chapter 13

If I speak in the tongues of all men and the words of angels, but have not love, I have become a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.

If I have the power of a prophet to preach, I will also understand all mysteries and all knowledge. And there is a complete letter that allows me to move mountains, but without love, I am nothing.

If I give all my possessions to the poor and sacrifice myself to be burned, but have no love, it still benefits me nothing.

Love is both enduring and kind. Love is not jealous. Love is not boasting. Don’t be arrogant.

Don’t do anything shy. Not seeking one’s own benefits. Not easily angered. Not counting human evil.

I don’t like injustice. I only like the truth.

Be tolerant in everything. Believe in everything. Hope for everything. Be patient in all things.

Love never stops. The ability of a prophet to preach will eventually come to nothing. The ability to speak dialects will eventually cease, and knowledge will eventually come to nothing.

What we know now is limited, and what the prophets have said is also limited.

When that comes completely, this limited will come to nothing.

When I was a child, my words were like children, my thoughts were like children, and my thoughts were like children. Once they become human, they discard the matter of children.

We seem to be looking in the mirror now, blurry (the original text is like guessing a riddle). At that time, we will have to face each other face-to-face. What I know now is limited. At that time, I will know everything, just as the Lord knows me.

Nowadays, there are three things that exist: faith, hope, and love. The greatest of these is love.
