psalm_Chapter 74
O God, why do you abandon us forever? Why are you angry like smoke at the sheep in your pasture?
Remember the congregation that you received in ancient times, which you redeemed as your inheritance tribe. And remember the Mount Zion where you have always lived.
Lift up your steps and see all the evil deeds of your enemies in the sanctuary, which has been desolate for a long time.
Your enemy roars in your meeting. They erected their own flag as a symbol.
They seem like people wielding axes to cut down trees in the forest.
All the carvings in the sanctuary have now been broken with axes and hammers.
They burn your sanctuary with fire, desecrate the dwelling of your name, and demolish it to the ground.
They said in their hearts, ‘We will completely destroy,’ and they burned down all the places of God throughout the land.
We don’t see our logo. There are no more prophets. No one among us knows how long this disaster will last?
God, how long will the enemy insult you? Will the enemy desecrate your name forever?
Why did you retract your right hand. Please reach out from your arms and destroy them.
God has been my king since ancient times, performing salvation on the earth.
You once used your ability to separate the sea and break the heads of big fish in the water.
You once smashed the head of a crocodile and gave it to the beasts of the wilderness as food. (The original text of poultry and animals is for the people)
You once split the rock, and the water became rivers, and you dried up the flowing rivers.
Day belongs to you, and night also belongs to you. The light and the sun are what you have prepared.
All the boundaries of the earth are established by you. Summer and winter are predetermined by you.
Remember, O Lord, the enemy has insulted and the foolish people have blasphemed your name.
Do not hand over the life of your spotted dove to wild beasts. Don’t forget the lives of your impoverished people forever.
Please consider the covenant you have made. Because the dark places on the earth are filled with dwellings of violence.
Don’t make the oppressed person feel ashamed to go back. Let the poor and needy praise your name.
God, arise and speak up for yourself. Remember how foolish people insult you all day long.
Don’t forget the voice of your enemies. The noise of those who oppose you often rises.
