psalm_Chapter 137
We once sat by the river in Babylon and wept when we remembered Zion.
We hung the piano on the willow tree there.
Because there, those who plunder us want us to sing, those who plunder us want us to have fun, saying, Sing us a Zion song.
How can we sing the song of the Lord in a foreign land?
Jerusalem, if I forget you, may my right hand forget the skill.
If I do not remember you, and if I do not see Jerusalem above all my joy, let my tongue stick to the roof of my mouth.
On the day of Jerusalem’s calamity, the Edomites said, Destroy, demolish, until the foundation is broken down. Remember this enmity, O Lord.
O daughter of Babylon, who is about to be destroyed, the one who retaliates against you like you did to us is blessed.
Blessed is the one who throws your baby on a rock.
