psalm_Chapter 140
O Lord, save me from the wicked, and protect me from the violent.
They plot evil in their hearts and often gather to fight.
They make their tongues sharp like snakes, with venom from cobras in their mouths. (Fine pull)
O Lord, save me from the hands of the wicked, and protect me from the violent. They plotted to push me down.
Pride has secretly set up traps and ropes for me. They laid nets and set traps on the roadside. (Fine pull)
I once said to the Lord, You are my God. O Lord, pay attention to the voice of my supplication.
Lord Jehovah, the strength of my salvation, you have covered my head in the day of war.
O Lord, do not fulfill the desire of the wicked. Don’t implement their strategies, I’m afraid they are arrogant. (Fine pull)
As for those who besiege me with their heads raised, may the wickedness of their lips cover themselves.
May the charcoal fall on them. May they be thrown into the fire, into deep pits, and not rise again.
Those who speak evil will not be able to stand firm on the earth. Misfortune will hunt down the violent and bring them down.
I know that the Lord will seek justice for the poor and plead justice for the needy.
A righteous person will praise your name. The upright will dwell before you.
