psalm_Chapter 1

Do not follow the schemes of the wicked, do not stand in the path of sinners, do not sit in the seat of mockers.

But he who loves the law of the Lord and thinks day and night is blessed.

He will be like a tree planted by a stream, bearing fruit in time and not withering its leaves. Everything he does goes smoothly.

The wicked are not like this, but like chaff blown away by the wind.

Therefore, during the judgment, the wicked will not stand, and so will the sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

For the Lord knows the way of the righteous. The path of the wicked will perish.
