psalm_Chapter 122

And they said to me, Let us go to the house of the Lord, and I rejoice.

Jerusalem, our feet stand in your door.

Jerusalem was built like a neatly connected city.

The tribes, the tribes of the Lord, go up there and praise the name of the Lord according to the tradition of Israel.

Because the throne of judgment was established there, which is the throne of the house of David.

Seek peace for Jerusalem. Jerusalem, those who love you will surely prosper.

May your city be safe, and may your palace prosper.

For the sake of my brothers and companions, I will say, May peace be among you.

For the sake of the Lord our God’s temple, I will seek your blessings.
