Min Shu Ji_Chapter 17

The Lord said to Moses,

Speak to the Israelites and take a staff from their hands, one from each tribe. Take twelve of their leaders according to their tribes. You need to write each person’s name on their staff,

And he shall write Aaron’s name on the rod of Levi, for every chief of his tribe shall have one rod.

You must store these sticks in front of the ark of the testimony in the tent of meeting, where I will meet with you.

Later on, the person I have chosen will have his staff sprout. So I will put an end to the grievances of the Israelites against you, and they will no longer reach my ears.

So Moses spoke to the Israelites, and their leaders gave him twelve sticks, one for each leader according to their tribe. Aaron’s staff is also among them.

Moses placed the staff in the tabernacle of the Testament before the Lord.

The next day, Moses went into the tabernacle of the Testament. Unexpectedly, Aaron’s staff, a member of the Levi tribe, had sprouted, sprouted buds, bloomed, and produced ripe apricots.

Moses took out all his staff from before the Lord and showed it to all Israel. When they saw it, each leader took his own staff.

The Lord commanded Moses, ‘Return Aaron’s staff in front of the Testament and leave it as a sign for these rebellious sons.’. So you will put an end to their grievances against me, so that they will not die.

Moses did so. As the Lord commanded him, so he did.

The Israelites said to Moses, “We are dead.”. We are doomed. They are all destroyed.

Anyone who comes near the tabernacle of the Lord will surely die. Are we all going to die?
