Min Shu Ji_Chapter 30
Moses spoke to the leaders of the tribes of Israel, saying, This is what the Lord has commanded:,
If a person makes a vow or swears to the Lord to restrain themselves, they must not break their promise and must do everything that comes out of their mouth.
If a woman, when she is young and still in her father’s house, makes a vow to the Lord to restrain herself,
Her father also heard her vows and words of restraint, but remained silent to her. Her vows and words of restraint must be upheld.
But if her father does not fulfill her vows and restrain himself on the day he hears them, they will not be determined. The Lord will also forgive her, because her father did not agree.
If she gets married and has a wish in her body, or if she utters bold words to restrain herself,
On the day her husband heard it, he remained silent to her, and her vows and words of restraint must be upheld.
But if her husband does not agree to the day he hears it, it will be considered as nullifying her promise and her bold words of restraint. The Lord will also forgive her.
The vows made by a widow or a divorced woman, which she binds herself to, must be upheld.
If she makes a wish or takes an oath at her husband’s house to restrain herself,
When the husband heard her, he remained silent and did not refuse her. Her wishes and words that bound him must be upheld.
On the day when the husband hears this, if he nullifies both of these things, the vows made by the woman or the words that bind her cannot be determined, because her husband has already nullified these two things. The Lord will also forgive her.
Her husband can confirm or revoke any vows she makes and vows she makes to restrain herself.
If her husband remains silent to her every day, even if it is to firmly uphold her wishes and restrain herself. Because her husband remained silent to her on the day he heard it, he made these two things firm.
But if her husband causes these two things to be completely abolished after hearing them, he shall bear the iniquity of the woman.
This is the law that the Lord commanded Moses, that the husband treated his wife, the father treated his daughter, and the daughter was young and still in his father’s house.
