圣经After six days, Jesus took Peter, James, and James’ brother John and secretly went up to a high mountain.
I changed my image right in front of them. My face is as bright as the sun, and my clothes are as white as light.
Suddenly, Moses and Elijah appeared to them and spoke with Jesus.
Peter said to Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you are willing, I will build three tents here, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.
As they spoke, suddenly a bright cloud covered them. And a voice came out of the clouds, saying, This is my beloved son, whom I am pleased with. You should listen to him.
When the disciples heard it, they fell to the ground in extreme fear.
Jesus came forward and touched them, saying, Get up, do not be afraid.
They lifted their eyes and saw no one, only Jesus was there.
As they descended from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, saying, Do not tell anyone what you have seen, as the Son of Man has not yet been resurrected from the dead.
His disciples asked Jesus, “Why do the scribes say, ‘Elijah must come first.'”.
Jesus answered, “Of course Elijah came first and will revive all things.”.
But I tell you, Elijah has come, but people do not know him and treat him as they please. The Son of Man will also suffer from them like this.
The disciples then understood that what Jesus was saying was about John the Baptist.
When Jesus and his disciples arrived at the crowd, a man came to Jesus and knelt down, saying,
Lord, have mercy on my son. He suffered from epilepsy, repeatedly falling into the fire and water.
I brought him to your disciples, but they were unable to heal him.
Jesus said, O unbelieving and perverse generation, how long will I be with you? How long will I endure you? Bring him to me.
Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out. From then on, the child recovered.
The disciples secretly came to Jesus and said, “Why can’t we drive out that demon?”?
Jesus said, Because your faith is small. I tell you the truth, if you have faith like a mustard seed, even if you say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there, and it will also move.’. And there’s nothing you can’t do anymore.
As for this type of ghost, if he does not pray and fast, he will not come out. (Or unable to drive him out)
When they were still living in Galilee, Jesus said to his disciples, The Son of Man will be delivered into the hands of men.
They will kill him, and on the third day he will be resurrected. The disciples were greatly saddened.
When they arrived at Capernaum, someone who collected the tax of tribute came to Peter and said, “Does your master not pay the tax of tribute?”? (Ding tax costs about half a yuan)
Peter said, Nah. He entered the room and Jesus first said to him, Simon, what do you mean. To whom do the kings of the world levy tariffs and taxes. Is it towards one’s own son? Are they outsiders?
Peter said, It’s an outsider. Jesus said, “Since that’s the case, my son can be exempt from taxes.”.
But I’m afraid I’ll offend them. Go fishing by the sea, pick up the fish you caught first, open its mouth, and you’ll get one dollar. You can give it to them as tax money for both of us.
