The Lord said to Moses,

Speak to the Israelites, saying, I am the Lord your God.

Do not follow the way of the people in the land of Egypt, where you used to live. Do not follow the way of the people in the land of Canaan, where I will bring you, nor do you follow their evil customs.

You shall follow my laws, keep my laws, and do according to them. I am the Lord your God.

Therefore, you must keep my laws and regulations, and if a person follows them, they will live by them. I am Jehovah.

You shall not expose the flesh and blood of your loved ones, nor approach them. I am Jehovah.

Do not expose your mother’s genitals and humiliate your father. She is your mother, do not expose her genitals.

Do not reveal your stepmother’s genitals, which were originally your father’s genitals.

Do not expose your sisters’ nakedness, whether they are of a different father or mother, whether they were born at home or abroad.

Do not reveal the genitals of your granddaughter or granddaughter, revealing their genitals is revealing your own genitals.

Your stepmother’s daughter, who was born to your father, is your younger sister, and you shall not reveal her genitals.

Do not reveal your aunt’s genitals, she is your father’s flesh and blood relative.

Do not reveal your aunt’s genitals, she is your mother’s flesh and blood relative.

Do not approach your uncle’s wife, humiliate your uncle, she is your uncle’s aunt.

Do not reveal the nakedness of your daughter-in-law, she is your son’s wife, and do not reveal her nakedness.

Do not reveal the nakedness of your brother’s wife, as it is your brother’s nakedness.

Do not expose the nakedness of a woman or her daughter, and do not marry her granddaughter or granddaughter. You must not expose their nakedness, as they are flesh and blood. This is great evil.

While your wife is still alive, you must not take her sisters as an opponent and expose her nakedness.

When a woman is unclean during menstruation, she must not expose her genitals or be close to her.

Do not engage in sexual intercourse with your neighbor’s wife or defile yourself.

Do not let your children go through the fire to return to Molech, and do not profane the name of your God. I am Jehovah.

It is detestable to not have sexual intercourse with men, just like with women.

Do not engage in sexual intercourse with beasts or defile oneself. Women should not stand in front of a beast and have sexual intercourse with it, as this is inherently rebellious.

In all these things, do not defile yourselves, for the nations that I have driven out before you have defiled yourselves in all these things.

Even the land has been defiled, so I have pursued its sins, and the land has vomited out its inhabitants.

Therefore, you must keep my laws and regulations. All these detestable things shall not be done, whether they be locals or outsiders residing among you,

(When the people who lived in the land before you did all these detestable things, the land was defiled.)

So that when you defile the land, it will spit you out, just like the nations that were before you.

Whoever does one of these detestable things will be cut off from their people.

Therefore, keep what I command you, so that you do not follow those detestable and evil customs, which were done before you, and thus defile yourself. I am the Lord your God.
