Joshua_Chapter 11

When King Jebin of Hazor heard this, he sent messengers to meet King Joba of Madon, King Shimron, and King Abshach,

And the kings of the northern mountains, the Arabah plateau to the south of Kinnereth, and the Dor hill to the west.

And he went to meet the Canaanites in the east and west, as well as the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Jebusites in the mountains, and the Hivites in the land of Mizpah at the root of Mount Hermon.

These kings and their armies came out, with a large number like the sand by the sea, and many horses and vehicles.

These kings gathered and came to the water of Miron, camping together to fight against the Israelites.

The Lord said to Joshua, “Do not be afraid of them.”. Tomorrow at this time, I will deliver them to the Israelites and completely kill them. You must cut off the tendons of their horses and burn their vehicles with fire.

So Joshua led all the soldiers and suddenly advanced against them by the water of Miron.

The Lord delivered them into the hands of the Israelites, and they struck them down. They pursued them to the great city of Sidon, to Mizriphmaim, and even to the plain of Mizpah on the east side, and killed them, leaving no one behind.

Joshua did as the Lord commanded him, cutting off the hooves of their horses and burning their chariots with fire.

At that time, Joshua returned and seized Hazor, and killed the king of Hazor with the sword. Xiazor has always been the leader among these countries.

The Israelites struck down the people in the city with the sword and completely destroyed them. There is no breath left behind. Joshua also burned Hazor with fire.

Joshua took all the cities of these kings, captured their kings, and struck them with the sword, completely destroying them, as the servant of the Lord Moses commanded.

As for the cities built on the hills, except for Hazor, the Israelites did not burn them. Joshua only burned Hazor.

The Israelites took all the goods and livestock from those cities as their plunder. Only all the population will be killed with a knife until they are completely destroyed. There is no breath left behind.

As the Lord commanded his servant Moses, so Moses commanded Joshua, and Joshua did the same. Joshua did not slack off in anything that the Lord commanded Moses.

Joshua took all the land, including the mountains, the southern region, all Goshen, the plateau, the Arabah, the mountains of Israel, and the plateau below.

From Mount Hara in Upper Seir to Baalgad in the plain of Lebanon below Mount Hermon, and captured and killed the kings of those lands.

Joshua and these kings fought for many years and days.

Except for the Hivites in Gibeon, there was not a city that made peace with the Israelites, all of which were taken by the Israelites through war.

For the will of the Lord is to harden their hearts and come to war with the Israelites, so that they may be completely destroyed and not find mercy, as the Lord commanded Moses.

At that time, Joshua came and cut off all the Anak people who lived in the mountains of Hebron, Debir, Annab, Judah, and Israel. Joshua completely destroyed them and their cities.

There was no Anak left in the land of the Israelites, only in Gaza, Gath, and Ashdod.

So Joshua took all the land according to all the words that the Lord commanded Moses, and divided it among the tribes of Israel according to their families as an inheritance. So the country was peaceful and there was no more war.
