Genesis_Chapter 3
The serpent is more cunning than all the living creatures in the field, which the Lord God has created. The snake said to the woman, Does God truly say that you are not allowed to eat the fruits of all the trees in the garden?
The woman said to the snake, “We can eat the fruits of the trees in the garden.”,
But God said, You shall not eat or touch the fruit of the tree in the garden, lest you die.
The snake said to the woman, “You may not necessarily die.”,
Because God knows that on the day you eat, your eyes will be bright, and you will be like God who knows good and evil.
So the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food, pleasing to the eye, and pleasing to the eye, and could make people wise. So she picked the fruit and ate it. She gave it to her husband again, and he also ate it.
Their eyes lit up and they realized they were naked. So they took fig tree leaves and made themselves dresses.
A cool breeze rose in the sky, and the Lord God walked in the garden. The man and his wife heard the voice of God and hid among the trees in the garden, avoiding the face of the Lord God.
The Lord God called out to the man and said to him, Where are you.
He said, I heard your voice in the garden, and I was afraid. Because I was naked, I hid.
The Lord said, Who told you to be naked? Did you eat the fruit on the tree that I instructed you not to eat?
The man said, ‘The woman you gave me, who lives with me, gave me the fruit of the tree, and I ate it.’.
The Lord God said to the woman, “What have you done?”? The woman said, “That snake tempted me, and I ate it.”.
The Lord God said to the snake, “Since you have done this, you will be cursed more than all the livestock and beasts.”. You will walk on your stomach and eat dirt for life.
I will make you and the woman hate each other again. Your descendants and the descendants of women also hold grudges against each other. The descendants of women will hurt your head, you will hurt their heels.
And he said to the woman, I will increase the suffering of your pregnancy, and you will suffer more when you give birth to children. You will long for your husband, and he will rule over you.
And he said to Adam, Since you have obeyed your wife and eaten the fruit of the tree that I commanded you not to eat, the earth will be cursed for your sake. You will work hard all your life to get food from the ground.
The earth will give you thorns and thorns, and you will eat the vegetables of the field.
You will have to sweat your face to make a living, until you return to the earth, because you came out of the earth. You are already dust, yet you will return to dust.
Adam named his wife Eve because she was the mother of all living beings.
The Lord God made clothes of skin for Adam and his wife to wear.
The Lord God said, That man is already like us, able to know good and evil. Now he is afraid that if he reaches out and picks the fruit of the Tree of Life to eat, he will live forever.
The Lord God sent him out of the Garden of Eden to cultivate the land from which he had come.
So he was kicked out. And he set up cherubim and a blazing sword on all sides to guard the path of the Tree of Life on the east side of the Garden of Eden.
