Exodus_Chapter 15

At that time, Moses and the Israelites sang to the Lord, saying, “I will sing to the Lord, because he has greatly overcome and has thrown horses and their riders into the sea.”.

The Lord is my strength, my poetry has become my salvation. This is my God, and I will praise him. He is the God of my father, and I will honor him.

The Lord is a warrior, and his name is Jehovah.

Pharaoh’s chariots and army have been thrown into the sea by the Lord, and his chosen commanders have sunk in the Red Sea.

Deep waters engulf them, they fall like stones into the depths.

O Lord, your right hand has shown power and glory, and your right hand has shattered your enemies.

You wield great power and overthrow those who rise up against you. You unleash your fierce anger like fire, burning them down like burning straw.

When you exhale the breath in your nose, the water gathers into piles, the great water stands upright like a fortress, and the deep waters of the sea condense.

My enemies say, I will pursue, I will pursue, I will divide the spoil, and I will declare my wish on them. I will draw my knife and personally kill them.

When you call the wind to blow, the sea will engulf them, and they will sink like lead in the great waters.

O Lord, among the gods, who can be like you. Who can be like you, most holy and glorious, to be praised and feared, to perform wonders.

You extended your right hand, and the earth swallowed them up.

You have brought the people you have redeemed through your love, and by your power you have led them to your holy place.

The Gentiles trembled upon hearing it, and pain gripped the inhabitants of the Philistines.

At that time, the chiefs of Edom were in panic, the heroes of Moab were seized with trembling, and the hearts of the inhabitants of Canaan were consumed.

Fear and terror descended upon them. O Lord, by the power of your arm, they remain as still as a stone, waiting for your people to pass over, waiting for the people you have redeemed to pass over.

You will bring them in and plant them on the mountains of your inheritance. O Lord, the dwelling place you have made for yourself, and the holy place you have built with your hands.

The Lord will reign forever and ever.

Pharaoh’s horses, chariots, and cavalry went down into the sea, and the Lord brought the sea back and submerged them, but the Israelites walked on dry land in the sea.

Aaron’s sister, the prophetess Miriam, held a tambourine in her hand, and all the women went out with her to take the tambourine and dance.

Miriam answered and said, Sing praises to the Lord, for he has greatly overcome and has thrown horses and their riders into the sea.

Moses led the Israelites from the Red Sea to the wilderness of Shur, and they walked in the wilderness for three days without finding any water.

When they arrived at Mara, they could not drink the water because it was bitter, so the land was called Mara.

And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?

Moses called out to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a tree. He threw the tree into the water, and the water became sweet. There the Lord established laws and judgments for them, and tested them there,

And he said, If you pay attention to the words of the Lord your God, and do what is right in my eyes, and give ear to my commandments, and keep all my laws, then I will not add to you the diseases that I have imposed on the Egyptians, for I, the Lord, have healed you.

They arrived at Elim, where there were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees. They camped by the water there.
