Exodus_Chapter 6

The Lord said to Moses, “Now you will see what I have done to Pharaoh, so that he will let the Israelites go and drive them out of his land because of my strong hand.”.

God spoke to Moses, saying, I am the Lord.

I appeared as the Almighty God to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, but they did not know my name, Jehovah.

I have steadfastly made a covenant with them to give them the land of Canaan, where they reside.

I have also heard the lamentation of the Israelites being mistreated by the Egyptians, and I remember my covenant.

So you must say to the Israelites, ‘I am the Lord, and I will punish the Egyptians heavily with my outstretched arm, redeeming you from their burden and not doing their hard work.’.

I will make you my people, and I will also be your God. You must know that I am the Lord your God, who saved you from the burden of the Egyptians.

I swear that I will bring you in the land that I promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and give it to you as an inheritance. I am Jehovah.

Moses told the Israelites these words, but they refused to listen to him because of their hard work and sorrow.

The Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

Go in and say to Pharaoh king of Egypt, ‘Let the Israelites go out of his land.’.

Moses said before the Lord, “If the Israelites do not listen to me, how will Pharaoh listen to me, who has a clumsy mouth and a slow tongue?”?

The Lord commanded Moses and Aaron to go to the Israelites and Pharaoh king of Egypt, and bring them out of the land of Egypt.

The names of Israeli parents are recorded below. The sons of Reuben, the eldest son of Israel, were Hanoch, Paru, Hezron, and Carmi. These were the families of Reuben.

The sons of Simeon were Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zoad, and Saul, the son of a Canaanite woman. These were the families of Simeon.

These are the names of the sons of Levi, according to their descendants: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari. The age of Levi’s life was 137 years.

The sons of Gershon were Lini and Shimei according to their families.

The sons of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel. The age of Ge Xia’s life was 133 years old.

The sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi, the families of Levi according to their descendants.

Amran married his father’s sister Jochebed, and she bore him Aaron and Moses. The age of Anlan’s life is 137 years old.

The sons of Ezra were Korah, Nephir, and Zichri.

The sons of Uzziel were Mishael, Elizaphan, and Sitiel.

Aaron married Elisabah, the daughter of Amminadab and the sister of Nahshun, and she bore him Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

The sons of Korah: Assir, Elkanah, and Abiasa. These are the families of Korah.

Eleazar, the son of Aaron, married one of the daughters of Putiel, and she bore him Phinehas. These are the parents of the Levites, all according to their homes.

The Lord said, Bring the Israelites out of the land of Egypt according to their armies. This is what Aaron and Moses said.

These are Moses and Aaron who said to Pharaoh the king of Egypt that he would bring the Israelites out of Egypt.

On the day when the Lord spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt,

He said to Moses, “I am the Lord, and you must tell Pharaoh the king of Egypt everything I say to you.”.

Moses said before the Lord, “See, I am a clumsy mouth and tongue. How will Pharaoh listen to me?”?
