Book of Ezekiel_Chapter 37

The hand of the Lord has descended on me. The Lord took me out through his spirit and placed me in the plain. This plain is covered with bones.

He made me pass around the bones, but to my surprise, there were many bones in the plain, and they were extremely dry.

He said to me, Son of man, can these bones be resurrected? I say, Lord Jehovah, you know.

And he said to me, Prophecy to these bones, O withered bones, hear the word of the Lord.

This is what the Lord GOD says to these bones: I will bring breath into you, and you will live.

I will add tendons to you, make you grow flesh, and cover you with skin, so that breath may enter you, and you will live. You will know that I am the Lord.

So, I obeyed and prophesied. While prophesying, unexpectedly, there was a sound and an earthquake. Bones are interconnected with each other.

I looked and saw tendons and flesh on the bones, and skin covering them, but there was still no breath.

The Lord said to me, Son of man, prophesy to the wind, saying, This is what the Lord has said: O breath, come from all four directions, and blow on these slain men, that they may live.

So I prophesied as ordered, and breath entered the bones, and they came to life and stood up, becoming a great army.

The Lord said to me, Son of man, these bones are the entire house of Israel. They said, our bones have dried up, our hopes have been lost, and we have become extinct.

Therefore prophesy to them, saying, Thus says the Lord GOD: O my people, I will open your graves, and bring you out of them, and bring you into the land of Israel.

O my people, I will open your graves and bring you out of them, and you will know that I am the Lord.

I will put my spirit within you, and you will live. I will place you in your own land, and you will know that I, the Lord, have said and accomplished this. This is what the Lord has said.

The word of the Lord came to me again, saying,

Son of man, take a wooden staff and write it on it as Judah and his companions Israel. Take another wooden staff and write it as Joseph on it, which is for Ephraim and for all his companions Israel.

You need to connect these two wooden sticks together and make them one in your hand.

Your own people ask you, what does this mean. Don’t you instruct us?

Then say to them, This is what the Lord GOD says: I will connect the rod of Joseph and his companions from the tribe of Israel, which is in the hand of Ephraim, with the rod of Judah, and make it one in my hand.

The two sticks you wrote should be held in their hands before their eyes,

I will say to them, ‘This is what the Lord has said:’ I will collect the Israelites from all the countries they have come to, and gather them from all around, guiding them back to their own land. ‘.

I will make them a nation in that land, on the mountains of Israel, and a king will reign over all their people. They will no longer be divided into two countries.

I will no longer defile myself with idols and detestable things, and with all my sins. But I will rescue them from all their dwellings, from the place where they sin. I will purify them, so that they will be my people and I will be their God.

My servant David will be their king. All the people will return to one shepherd. They will follow my laws and keep and follow my laws.

They will dwell in the land that I have given to my servant Jacob, which is the land where your ancestors lived. They and their descendants, as well as their descendants, will live there forever. My servant David will be their king forever.

And I will make a covenant of peace with them, as an eternal covenant. I will also place them in my own land, increase their number, and set up my sanctuary among them forever.

My dwelling place will be among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

My sanctuary will be among the Israelites forever, and the Gentiles will know that I am the Lord who has made Israel holy.
