I speak the truth in Christ and do not lie. My conscience is moved by the Holy Spirit, who bears witness to me.

I am full of sorrow, and my heart often hurts.

For my brothers, my flesh and blood, even if I am cursed and separated from Christ, I am willing to do so.

They are Israelis. The title, glory, treaties, laws, rituals, and promises of that son belong to them.

The ancestors are their ancestors, and according to the flesh, Christ also came out of them. He is a God above all things, forever blessed. Amen.

This is not to say that God’s words have fallen into vain. Because not all those born in Israel are Israelites.

Not because they are descendants of Abraham, they are all his children. Only those born of Isaac shall be called your descendants.

This means that children born of the flesh are not children of God. Only the promised children are considered descendants.

Because the promised words are like this: I will come by this time next year, and Sarah will have a son.

Not only that, but Rebekah also became pregnant from one person, our ancestor Isaac.

The twins have not yet been born, and good and evil have not yet been done, only to show the will of God in choosing people, not in their ways, but in the Lord who calls them.

God said to Rebekah, “The great will serve the small.”.

As it is written, Jacob is my beloved, and Esau is my evil.

So, what can we say? Is there anything unfair about God? Absolutely not.

Because he said to Moses, ‘I will show mercy to whoever I want, and show kindness to whoever I want.’.

From this perspective, it doesn’t care about the determined one, nor about the running one, only about the compassionate God.

For it is said in the scripture to Pharaoh, I have raised you up, that my power may be manifested in you, and that my name may be spread throughout the world.

So it seems that if God wants to have mercy on anyone, he will have mercy on them; if he wants to make anyone hard, he will make them hard.

So, you must say to me, why does he still accuse people? Who resists his will?

Who are you, this person? How dare you speak up to God? Can the thing that was created say to him, Why did you make me like this?

Does the potter not have the authority to make a valuable vessel out of a lump of mud, and another vessel out of a lowly one?

If God wants to reveal his wrath and his power, he will endure and tolerate the vessels that are ready for destruction.

And let his abundant glory be revealed on the vessels that have been mercifully prepared for glory.

This vessel is called to us by God, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles. What is this that cannot be done?

Just as God said in the Book of Hosea, those who were not my people will be called my people. Originally not beloved, I would call it beloved.

I once said to them somewhere, ‘You are not my people, but there I will call them the sons of the living God.’.

Isaiah shouted at the Israelites, saying, “Although the Israelites are as many as the sand of the sea, only the remaining will be saved.”.

Because the main purpose is to carry out his words in the world, to make all his words come to an end quickly.

As Isaiah had said before, if it weren’t for the Lord of hosts leaving us with surplus seeds, we would have been like Sodom and Gomorrah.

So, what can we say? The Gentiles who originally did not pursue righteousness, but instead obtained righteousness through faith.

But if the Israelites pursue the righteousness of the law, they will not receive the righteousness of the law.

What is the reason for this? It’s because they don’t seek based on faith, only on behavior. They are falling on that stumbling block.

As it is written, I placed a stumbling stone and a falling rock in Zion. Those who trust him will not be ashamed.
