Leviticus_Chapter 22

The Lord said to Moses, Command Aaron and his descendants to stay away from the holy thing…

The Lord said to Moses,

Command Aaron and his descendants to stay away from the holy things that the Israelites have consecrated for me, so as not to profane my holy name. I am Jehovah.

You shall say to them, ‘From generation to generation, any descendant of you who is unclean and has been consecrated by the Israelites as holy to the Lord will be cut off before me.’. I am Jehovah.

Any descendant of Aaron who has developed leprosy or has a leak shall not eat holy food until he is cleansed. Whoever touches anything unclean due to a dead body, or a person who releases semen,

Or touching any crawling object that makes him unclean, or touching the person that makes him unclean (regardless of what impurity that person has),

Those who touch these people or things will be unclean until evening. If they do not wash themselves with water, they must not eat the holy things.

At sunset, he becomes clean and can then eat holy things because they are his food.

He shall not eat anything that dies or is torn apart by wild beasts, and therefore defile himself. I am Jehovah.

So they must keep what I command them, so that they do not neglect and therefore bear the responsibility and die. I am the Lord who sanctifies them.

No outsider shall eat the holy things, and no sojourner or hired servant shall eat the holy things.

If the priest buys a person with his money, then the person can eat the holy things, and those born in his house can also eat them.

If the daughter of a priest marries an outsider, she shall not eat the holy offerings of the offering.

But if a priest’s daughter is a widow or divorced without children, and returns to her father’s house like her youth, she may eat her father’s food, but outsiders shall not eat it.

If someone accidentally eats the holy thing, they must give it to the priest by adding one-fifth of the original number of the holy thing.

Priests shall not blaspheme the holy things offered by the Israelites to the Lord,

Lest they take iniquity upon themselves when they eat the holy things, for I am the Lord who sanctify them.

The Lord said to Moses,

Speak to Aaron and his descendants, as well as all Israel, saying, All the people of the house of Israel, or those who sojourn in Israel, who offer an offering, whether it be a vow made or a voluntary offering, are willing to offer it as a burnt offering to the Lord,

To be accepted, one must offer a bull, sheep, or goat without any disability.

You shall not offer anything with disabilities, for it is not accepted.

Anyone who offers a peace offering from a herd of cattle or sheep to the Lord to fulfill a special vow or as a voluntary offering, the offering must be pure and without any blemish before it can be accepted.

Blind, wounded, disabled, with tumors, ringworm, or scabbing shall not be offered to the Lord, nor shall they be offered as an offering made by fire on the altar to the Lord.

Whether it is a bull or a lamb, if there are any excess or missing parts, they can only be offered as a voluntary offering to fulfill their vows, but they will not be accepted.

You shall not offer to the Lord any kidney that is damaged, crushed, ruptured, or cut, nor shall you do so in your land.

You shall not accept any of these things as food for your God from the hands of strangers, because they are damaged, disabled, and not accepted.

The Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

A newly born bull, sheep, or goat, shall follow its mother for seven days, and from the eighth day onwards, it shall be accepted as an offering by fire to the Lord.

Whether it is a cow or a ewe, it is not allowed to slaughter both the mother and the offspring on the same day.

You shall offer a thanksgiving offering to the Lord, and it shall be acceptable.

Eat on the same day, not leave any until morning. I am Jehovah.

You must keep and follow my commandments. I am Jehovah.

Do not blaspheme my holy name, but I will be holy among the Israelites. I am the Lord who sanctifies you,

Take you out of the land of Egypt and become your gods. I am Jehovah.
