job _Chapter 18

Bildad the Shua replied,

How long will it take for you to search for words? You can ponder your thoughts, and then we can speak.

Why are we considered animals, and in your eyes, we are considered filthy?

Do you, who are torn apart by anger, see the earth abandoned for you and the rock moved away from its place?

The light of the wicked shall be extinguished. His flames will not shine.

The light in his tent will turn into darkness. The lights above him will also go out.

His strong footsteps are bound to be narrow. My own plan will surely trip him up.

Because he was caught in a net with his own feet, walking in a tangled net.

A trap must grab his heel. The mechanism will surely capture him.

The buckle is hidden in the soil for him. Ties hide for him on the road.

The scares on all sides will make him afraid and chase after his heels.

His strength will wither from hunger, and calamity will wait by his side.

His own limbs will be devoured, and the eldest son of death will devour his limbs.

He will be pulled out of the tent he relies on and brought to the frightened king.

He who does not belong to him will live in his tent. Sulfur will be sprinkled on his dwelling place.

Below, he is about to dry up. Above, his branches need to be pruned.

His memory will surely perish on the earth. His name doesn’t even exist on the street.

He will be driven out of the light into the darkness, and driven out of the world.

There must be no children or grandchildren among our people. There is no one left in the place of residence.

Those who come in the future will be amazed by his days, as if those who went before were shocked.

The dwelling place of unjust people is always like this. This is the level of people who do not know God.
