Isaiah_Chapter 54

You, who are not pregnant or childbearing, should sing. You, who have never experienced childbirth, let your voice sing and shout for joy. Because there are more children without a husband than those with a husband. This is what the Lord has said.

Expand the land of your tabernacle, widen the curtains of your dwelling place, do not limit them, lengthen your ropes, and strengthen your stakes.

Because you need to move left and right. Your descendants will inherit many nations and make desolate cities inhabited.

Don’t be afraid, for you will not be ashamed. Don’t feel ashamed, for you will not be humiliated. You will forget the shame of your youth, and will no longer remember the shame of your widowhood.

Because it was your husband who made you. The Lord of hosts is his name. He who redeems you is the Holy One of Israel. He will be called the God of all the earth.

The Lord calls you, like a wife who has been abandoned and grieved in her heart, a wife who was abandoned in her youth. This is what your God said.

I abandoned you only for a while, but I want to show great kindness to take you back.

My anger overflows, I hide my face from you in an instant, but I will pity you with eternal love. This is what the Lord your Redeemer has said.

This is like a flood in Noah to me. As I swear that I will no longer let the floods of Noah overflow the earth, so I swear that I will no longer be angry with you, nor will I rebuke you.

Big mountains can be moved away, while small mountains can be relocated. But my mercy will not leave you, and my covenant of peace will not be moved. This is what the Lord, who has mercy on you, has said.

I will set your stones with colors, and establish your foundation with sapphires, O you who are troubled and swayed by the wind without comfort.

And he will make your daughter’s wall of rubies, your city gates of rubies, and the borders around you of precious stones. (Or used as an outer wall)

Your children will all receive the teaching of the Lord. Your children will enjoy great peace.

You will be established in righteousness. Stay away from oppression and not be afraid. You will stay away from fear, and fear will not come near you.

Even if someone gathers, but not because of me. Anyone who gathers to attack you will fall because of you. (Because you have fallen or surrendered)

I am the blacksmith who boasts about charcoal fire and creates versatile tools. What harms and destroys people is also what I have created.

Any equipment created to attack you must not be used. Whoever rises up to attack you with his tongue during judgment, you will surely find him guilty. This is the inheritance of the servants of the Lord, the righteousness they have received from me. This is what the Lord has said.
