Isaiah_Chapter 47

O virgin of Babylon, come down and sit in the dust; O daughter of Chaldea, there is no throne; sit on the ground, for you are no longer called weak and delicate.

Use a grinding surface. Peel off your handkerchief, take off your long clothes, and walk barefoot in the river.

Your lower body will be exposed, and your ugliness will be seen. I want revenge, no one is tolerant.

The name of our Redeemer is the Lord of hosts, the Holy One of Israel.

O daughter of Chaldea, sit still and enter into darkness, for you are no longer called the Lord Mother of the nations.

I am angry with my people and have desecrated my inheritance. I have handed them over to you, and you have no mercy on them. You have placed a heavy yoke on the elderly.

You said to yourself, “I will always be the Lord’s Mother,” so you did not take this matter to heart, nor did you consider its outcome.

You who specialize in feasting and living in peace, now listen to these words and say in your heart, Only I, there is nothing else besides me, and I will not be widowed or suffer any loss of children.

Unexpectedly, the loss of a son and widowhood will come to you in the blink of an eye in one day. While you are practicing many witchcraft and casting numerous spells, these two things will come to you completely.

You have always relied on your own evil deeds, saying, No one sees me. Your wisdom and understanding have led you astray, and you have said in your heart, ‘Only I, there is nothing else besides me.’.

Therefore, calamity is coming upon you, and you do not know when to discover it. When or how to expel disasters that fall on you, you cannot eliminate them. Destruction that is unknown will suddenly come upon you.

Stand up and use the spells and many of your sorcery that you have used since childhood, either to gain benefits or to achieve strong victories.

You plan too much, which makes you tired. Let those who observe the heavens, those who see the stars, and those who prophesy in the new moon stand up and rescue you from what will come to you.

They will be burned like straw by fire, unable to save themselves from the power of flames. This fire is not a charcoal fire that can be roasted, nor a fire that can sit in front of it.

All the things you labor God for will be of no benefit to you. Those who have been trading with you since childhood have all fled to their respective villages, and there is no one to save you.
