Isaiah_Chapter 44

My servant Jacob, O Israel, whom I have chosen, now hear.

This is what the Lord, who created you and created you from your womb to help you, says: “Do not be afraid, Jacob my servant, or Jeshulun, whom I have chosen.”.

Because I will pour water on those who are thirsty, and water rivers on dry lands. I will pour out my spirit on your descendants, and my blessings on your descendants.

They want to happen in the grass, like willows by the stream.

I belong to the Lord. That person is going to call themselves after Jacob. And another shall write with his own hand to the Lord, and shall call himself Israel.

This is what the Lord, the ruler of Israel and the Redeemer of Israel, the Lord of hosts, says: I am the first, I am the last, and there is no true God besides me.

Since I established the people of ancient times, who has been able to proclaim and declare like me, and to declare for themselves? Let him explain what will happen in the future and what will happen.

Don’t be afraid, don’t be afraid either. Have I not instructed you since ancient times? And you are my witnesses, is there any true God besides me? Indeed, there is no rock, I don’t know one.

Those who create and carve idols are all empty. What they are pleased with is of no benefit. Their testimony, without seeing or knowing, makes them feel ashamed.

Who makes gods and molds useless idols?

Look, all his companions will be ashamed, and craftsmen are nothing but humans. Let them gather together, let them stand; they will all fear and be ashamed together.

The blacksmith heated the iron in charcoal, hammered the ironware with a hammer, and hammered it with his strong arms. He is hungry and powerless, and tired without drinking water.

The carpenter drew a line and used a pen to draw the shape. Shaped with a plane, drawn with a ruler, modeled after a human figure, to create a humanoid shape for living in a house.

He cut down the cedar trees, took oak trees and oak trees, and selected one among the trees. He planted pine trees that were nurtured by rain,

This tree can be used by a person to make a fire. He takes some of the fire himself and burns pancakes. And kneel down as a deity, and the carved idols bow down to it.

He burned a portion in the fire and ate a portion of grilled meat. Bake the fire and say, Aha, I’m warm now, I see the fire.

He made a god out of what was left, a carved idol. He bowed down to this idol and prayed to it, saying, “Save me, for you are my God.”.

They do not know, nor do they think, because the Lord closes their eyes and cannot see, and blocks their hearts and cannot understand.

No one is awakened in their hearts, nor do they have knowledge or wisdom. Can they say, I once took a portion and burned it in the fire, baked cakes on charcoal fire, and baked meat to eat? Will I make this residue an abominable thing? How can I turn to wood?? Where is the son bowing?

He feeds on ash, his heart is unconscious, causing him to turn evil. He cannot save himself, nor can he say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?

Jacob and Israel, you are my servant, remember these things. O Israel, you are my servant; I have made you and will not forget you.

I have smeared your wrongdoing, like a thick cloud dissipating. I have smeared away your sins like a thin cloud. You should return to me, for I have redeemed you.

Sing, O heavens, for the Lord has done this. Let the depths of the earth shout, let the mountains sing, let the forest and all its trees be like this: for the Lord has redeemed Jacob, and will glorify himself in Israel.

This is what the Lord, your redeemer, has said since your birth: I, the Lord, have created all things, I have spread out the heavens and the earth alone. (Who is with me?)

To render false signs ineffective, to make diviners insane, to make wise men retreat, and to turn their knowledge into foolishness.

Let the words of my servants be established, and the plan of my messengers be accomplished. When it comes to Jerusalem, it is said that there will be people living there. Regarding the cities of Judah, it is said that they will be built. I will also raise up the wilderness among them.

Tell the abyss, you did it. I will also make your rivers dry up.

Regarding Cyrus, he said, He is my shepherd, and he will do what I am pleased with. He will command the construction of Jerusalem and establish the foundation of the temple.
