Isaiah_Chapter 18

Alas, in the land beyond the Gu Shi River where wings brush and make a sound,

Send envoys on the surface of the water and cross the sea on a cattail boat. The prophet said, Go quickly, messengers, to the people who are tall and smooth. Since the founding of the country, that people have been extremely terrifying, they have trampled on people by dividing their land into rivers.

All the inhabitants of the world, and all those who dwell on the earth, when a great banner is erected on the mountain, see. When blowing the horn, you should listen.

The Lord said to me, “I will be quiet and observe in my dwelling place, like the clear heat in the sunlight, like the mist of dew in the hot day of harvest.”.

Before harvesting, the flowers will bloom and wither, and they will become ripe grapes. He will use a sickle to cut off the tender branches and cut off the spreading ones.

They will be left to the birds of prey in the mountains and the wild beasts on the earth. In summer, birds of prey will roost on it, and in winter, wild beasts will lie among them.

At that time, these tall and smooth people, who have been extremely terrifying since the founding of the country, have divided the land and trampled on people. Their land is divided by rivers, and they will bring gifts to the Lord of hosts, to Mount Zion, where the Lord has placed his name.
