O Israel, return to the Lord your God. You fell because of your own sin.

I will be like dew to Israel, he will bloom like lilies, and take root like the trees of Lebanon.

Those who once lived under his shade will return and prosper like the five grains. Blooming like a grape tree. His aroma is like the wine of Lebanon.

Ephraim will say, What further do I have to do with idols? I, the Lord, will answer him and consider him. I am like a green pine tree, your fruit comes from me.

Who is a wise person who can understand these things, and who is a wise person who can know everything. For the way of the Lord is upright: the righteous shall walk in it, but sinners shall fall upon it.
