Genesis_Chapter 2
All things in heaven and earth have been created.
On the seventh day, when the work of God’s creation had been completed, he rested from all his work and rested.
God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on this day God rested from all his creative work and rested.
This is the origin of the creation of heaven and earth, on the day when the Lord God created heaven and earth.
There is no vegetation in the wilderness, and the vegetables in the field have not yet grown, because the Lord God has not yet rained on the land, nor has anyone cultivated it.
But there was mist rising from the ground, nourishing the ground.
The Lord God made a man out of the dust of the earth, and breathed life into his nostrils, and he became a living man with a spirit, named Adam.
The Lord God set up a garden in Eden in the east and placed the people he had made there.
The Lord God has made all kinds of trees grow out of the earth, pleasing to the eye, and their fruits are good for food. In the garden, there is also a tree of life and a tree that distinguishes good from evil.
A river flows out of Eden, nourishing the garden and dividing it into four paths.
The first path is called Bison, which surrounds the entire land of Havilah. There is gold there,
And the gold in that area is good. There are pearls and red agates there.
The second river is called Gihon, which surrounds the entire land of Cush.
The third river is called Hedekiel and flows to the east of Assyria. The fourth river is the Bora River.
The Lord God placed the man in the Garden of Eden to repair and guard him.
The Lord God commanded him, saying, You may eat as you please of all the fruits of the trees in the garden.
You shall not eat the fruit of the tree that distinguishes between good and evil, for on the day you eat, you shall surely die.
The Lord God said, It is not good for that person to live alone. I will make him a spouse to help him.
And the Lord God brought before him all the beasts of the wilderness and all the birds of the air that he had made of the earth, and saw what his name was. How that person calls all kinds of living creatures is their name.
The man named all the livestock, birds in the air, and wild animals. It’s just that the person didn’t meet a spouse to help him.
The Lord God caused him to fall asleep, and he fell asleep. So he took off one of his ribs and closed the meat together.
The Lord God made a woman out of the rib he had taken from the man and brought her to him.
The person said, “This is the bone in my bones, the flesh in my flesh. You can call her a woman because she was taken from a man.”.
Therefore, people need to leave their parents and unite with their wives, and the two become one.
At that time, the couple was naked and not ashamed.
