We knew that if our tents on this earth were demolished, we would receive a house made by God, not by human hands, that will endure forever in heaven.

We sigh in this tent, thinking deeply of the house from heaven, as if wearing clothes.

If you wear it, you won’t be naked when you’re met.

We sigh and toil in this tent, not willing to take off this, but willing to put on that, so that this mortal may be swallowed up by life.

For this is God who nurtures us, and He gives us the Holy Spirit as a sign. (Original text quality).

So we are always calm and fearless, and know that we live within ourselves, and therefore we are separated from the Lord.

Because we act by faith, not by sight.

We are fearless and more willing to leave our bodies and live with the Lord.

So whether we live inside or leave outside, we have set our sights on achieving the joy of the Lord.

For we all shall be revealed before the altar of Christ, that every one may receive retribution according to their own deeds, whether good or evil.

We know that the Lord is fearsome, so we advise others, but we are revealed before God, and we hope to be revealed in your conscience as well.

We are not recommending ourselves to you again, but that you may have something to boast about because of us, so that you may have something to say to those who boast about their appearance rather than their heart.

If we go crazy, it’s for God. If I keep it, it is for you.

The love of Christ inspires us. Because we want one person to die for everyone, and everyone will die.

And he died for everyone, so that those who live no longer live for themselves, but for the Lord who died for them and was resurrected.

So from now on, we will no longer recognize people based on their physical appearance. Although I have recognized Christ based on his appearance, I no longer recognize him in this way.

If anyone is in Christ, he is a newly created person. The old things have passed, they have all become new.

Everything comes from God, who reconciles us with him through Christ and bestows upon us the task of persuading others to reconcile with him.

This is how God reconciled the world with himself in Christ, not blaming their sins on them. And entrusted us with the principle of reconciliation.

So we are messengers of Christ, just as God exhorts you through us. We pray for reconciliation with God on behalf of Christ.

God has made the innocent (innocent in the original text) sin on our behalf. So that we may become the righteousness of God within him.
